lemlist alternatives

People switch from lemlist when the credits, the per-user Multichannel price or the slow mailbox ramp stop adding up. Here are nine options, split by whether you need LinkedIn and calls or send email alone.

The short answer

Reachkit makes a competing cold email tool. Every price here was checked in October 2026 against the vendor’s own pages.

lemlist sells two different products under one name. The Email plan is priced by monthly volume and doesn’t charge per user. Multichannel adds LinkedIn, calls and SMS at a per-user price. So the first question is which of the two you’re replacing:

  • Email, LinkedIn and calls in one sequence, with an AI SDR option: Reply.io.
  • LinkedIn across many accounts, paired with an email tool: HeyReach.
  • Email plus a LinkedIn sender on a flat plan: Salesforge.
  • High email volume with a large shared inbox and warmup: Instantly.
  • Agencies that want client workspaces and white label: Smartlead.
  • A low entry price with lead credits included: Saleshandy.
  • Inboxes set up for you and lead credits in one workspace price: Reachkit (our product).
  • Finding, verifying and sending on one bill: Snov.io.
  • Sending straight from Gmail: GMass.

One thing to weigh first. If your replies come from lemlist’s per-lead images or personalized landing pages, check that the tool you pick supports them before you move.

Why people look for a lemlist alternative

Three reasons come up again and again in reviews and forums.

Data is billed on top

The Email plan starts at $69 a month in October 2026 but includes no credits. Finding and verifying one email costs 5 credits, and the credit add-on starts at $20 a month for 2,000. G2's review summary lists the credit system being expensive among the top complaints.

LinkedIn and calls cost per seat

LinkedIn steps and calls sit on Multichannel, at $109 per user a month with 5 email senders each and $9 for every extra sender. One Reddit user with three SDRs sending about 5,000 emails a week put the bill close to $500 a month.

New mailboxes take weeks to start

lemlist's own lemwarm guide ramps a new mailbox over about 40 days, then waits 14 more before a campaign. On the data side, one Reddit user wrote that the email finder 'works maybe 60% of the time and half of those bounce.'

1. Reply.io: best for email, LinkedIn and calls in one tool

If your lemlist sequences mix LinkedIn steps and calls with email, entries 1 to 3 are for you.

Reply.io is the closest match to lemlist Multichannel: one sequence with email, LinkedIn, call and SMS steps, plus Jason, an AI SDR that can source leads, write copy and handle replies.

Price (October 2026): the Email Volume plan starts at $59 a month per user for 1,000 contacts ($49 yearly), with warmup included on every mailbox. LinkedIn adds $69 a month per account. The Multichannel plan is $99 per user a month ($89 yearly) with a LinkedIn seat. Jason AI SDR starts at $500 a month billed yearly.

Strengths:

  • Native CRM sync with HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive.
  • A mature AI SDR with an approval mode, now on its fourth major version.

Drawbacks:

  • One Reddit user found it “starting to feel a bit clunky”, and another says the multichannel features “get pricey fast” at higher tiers.
  • Reply.io’s own pages disagree on which plans include AI reply handling.

Versus lemlist: the same multichannel idea, priced by contacts on email and per user on Multichannel. Reply.io rates 4.6 on G2. See Reachkit vs Reply.io, Reply.io vs Instantly and the Reply.io profile.

2. HeyReach: best for LinkedIn across many accounts

HeyReach automates LinkedIn only. It rotates outreach across many LinkedIn accounts (“senders”) in one campaign and gathers every conversation in a shared inbox it calls Unibox. Email runs through integrations with Instantly, Smartlead and EmailBison.

Price (October 2026): $79 a month per sender ($63 yearly), dropping to $59 from 10 senders. The Agency plan is $999 a month for 25 senders ($799 yearly). The trial runs 14 days with no card.

Strengths:

  • Built for many senders: rotation, per-sender caps and one inbox for all of them.
  • Agency tooling: a workspace per client on every plan, and white label on the Agency plan.

Drawbacks:

  • Per-sender pricing climbs: one Reddit user wrote that “$79 per sender adds up fast.”
  • LinkedIn automation carries account risk. HeyReach itself says there is no approved outreach automation tool, “ours included.” HeyReach’s own blog says LinkedIn removed its company page and restricted four executives’ profiles in March 2026, and that customers weren’t affected.

Versus lemlist: deeper on LinkedIn volume, but it needs a separate email tool, and lemlist isn’t on its integrations list. See the HeyReach profile.

3. Salesforge: best for email plus a LinkedIn sender on one plan

Salesforge is a cold email and LinkedIn sequencer with a shared inbox, Primebox, for both channels. Mailboxes, lead data and its AI SDR, Agent Frank, are separate products with their own bills.

Price (October 2026): Pro is $48 a month ($40 yearly) for 1 user, 1,000 active contacts, 5,000 emails and 1 LinkedIn sender. Growth is $96 ($80 yearly) with unlimited users, 10,000 contacts and 50,000 emails. Agent Frank’s FAQ says it starts at $599 a month billed quarterly, while the pricing slider still shows lower figures.

Strengths:

  • Warmup through Warmforge is included, with mailbox connections not charged per inbox.
  • LinkedIn steps on the entry plan, which lemlist only offers on Multichannel.

Drawbacks:

  • Several products to buy and connect: Mailforge or Primeforge for mailboxes, Leadsforge for data ($49 for 2,000 credits).
  • Its terms ask you to cancel 7 days before the term ends, through live chat, with no refunds.

Versus lemlist: a flat plan with one LinkedIn sender instead of lemlist’s per-user Multichannel seat. The API and MCP sit on Growth only. See Reachkit vs Salesforge.

4. Instantly: best for high email volume

If you only send email with lemlist, entries 4 to 9 are for you.

Instantly is an email-only sender with a peer warmup pool it puts at over 1,000,000 accounts, a shared inbox (Unibox), a lead database (SuperSearch) on separate credits and done-for-you Google inboxes.

Price (October 2026): Growth is $47 a month ($37.60 yearly) for 5,000 emails and 1,000 uploaded contacts. Hypergrowth is $97 ($77.60 yearly) for 100,000 to 125,000 emails a month; Instantly’s pricing page lists both. Lead credits are billed apart, from $47 for 1,500. Done-for-you inboxes cost $5 each a month plus $15 a domain a year.

Strengths:

  • No per-account fee for email accounts: unlimited on the pricing page, though the terms cap a workspace at 100.
  • Done-for-you Google inboxes delivered in 24 to 72 hours.

Drawbacks:

  • Growth can only preview replies in Unibox, not answer them, and team invites and webhooks need Hypergrowth.
  • Instantly keeps ownership of done-for-you domains, and they can’t be transferred.

Versus lemlist: no LinkedIn or calls, but a higher send limit at a similar price. See Reachkit vs Instantly, Instantly vs lemlist and the Instantly profile.

5. Smartlead: best for agencies

Smartlead is an email sender built around many mailboxes and many clients, with warmup included and white-label client workspaces as a paid add-on.

Price (October 2026): Base is $39 a month ($32 yearly) for 2,000 contacts and 6,000 sends. Pro is $94 ($78 yearly) for 30,000 contacts and 90,000 sends. White label costs $29 per client workspace a month, from Pro. SmartProspect lead data adds $59 a month on Base and Pro.

Strengths:

  • No per-mailbox fee. The pricing page says “unlimited”, and its Fair Use Policy mentions plan limits.
  • Done-for-you Google mailboxes at $4.50 each a month plus $13 a domain a year.

Drawbacks:

  • Base has no API, webhooks or CRM sync.
  • Support speed is a recurring complaint, and Smartlead’s pages disagree on its own response time (24 hours in the FAQ, 48 to 72 in the help center).

Versus lemlist: Smartlead’s LinkedIn runs only through integrations such as HeyReach, and it charges per client workspace where lemlist needs a separate subscription per client team. See Reachkit vs Smartlead, Smartlead vs lemlist and the Smartlead profile.

6. Saleshandy: best for a low entry price with leads included

Saleshandy bundles a cold email sender with a lead finder, and puts monthly lead credits in every plan.

Price (October 2026): Starter is $41 a month ($34 yearly) for 1 user, 2,000 active prospects, 6,000 emails and 1,500 lead credits. Pro is $99 ($76 yearly) for 10 users, 30,000 prospects, 100,000 emails and 4,000 credits. A verified email costs 1 credit, and nothing when none is found. Done-for-you Google mailboxes run $2.99 to $3.99 each a month plus $14 a domain.

Strengths:

  • Email accounts are unlimited, with a unified inbox on every plan.
  • Lead credits come with the plan rather than as an add-on.

Drawbacks:

  • “UI/UX and email management” is the largest complaint theme on G2 (114 mentions); warmup issues has 54.
  • Warmup runs in TrulyInbox, a separate app from the same owner, and the trial lasts 7 days with 100 emails.

Versus lemlist: cheaper to start with data included, but email only, with LinkedIn handled as manual tasks or a push to HeyReach. See Reachkit vs Saleshandy, Instantly vs Saleshandy and the Saleshandy profile.

7. Reachkit (this is our product): best for done-for-you setup

Reachkit is an email-only cold email platform that sets up the sending side for you. You describe your offer in a sentence and it drafts the campaign, finds verified leads, and buys and warms Google or Microsoft inboxes on new lookalike domains, registered and configured for you.

Price (October 2026): Growth is $39 a month ($29 yearly) for 5,000 stored contacts, 15,000 campaign emails and 1,000 lead credits. Scale starts at $99 ($79 yearly) and adds CRM sync, the REST API and webhooks. Done-for-you inboxes cost $5 each a month plus $15 a domain a year. The trial runs 30 days with no card.

Strengths:

  • One price per workspace, with no seat fees and no per-inbox fee for inboxes you connect yourself.
  • A credit buys one verified lead and is refunded when no verifiable email is found.

Drawbacks:

  • No LinkedIn, calls or inbox placement tests, and no Salesforce or Pipedrive sync.
  • Growth’s 5,000 contacts fill in about month four at 1,500 new leads a month, and each client workspace needs its own plan.

Versus lemlist: lead credits sit in the base price and new inboxes warm for at least 3 weeks (4 to 6 recommended). The MCP server, a standard way for AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT to use other apps, works on every plan. See Reachkit vs lemlist.

8. Snov.io: best for finding, verifying and sending on one bill

Snov.io started as an email finder and verifier and now sends campaigns too, with LinkedIn automation sold as add-on slots.

Price (October 2026): a free Trial plan renews monthly with 50 credits and 100 recipients. Starter is $39 a month ($29.25 yearly) for 1,000 credits, 5,000 recipients and 3 warmup slots. Pro S is $99 ($74.25 yearly) for 5,000 credits and 25,000 recipients. A LinkedIn slot costs $59 a month with a paid plan, $69 on its own.

Strengths:

  • Billing counts recipients, so follow-ups within the period cost nothing extra, and paid plans include unlimited senders and seats.
  • An MCP server on every plan, the free Trial included, and two-way HubSpot and Pipedrive sync.

Drawbacks:

  • Credits drain fast, a frequent complaint, and its pages size the database differently: “500M+ verified contacts” in one place, “over 50 million” in its FAQ.
  • Warmup needs the mailbox reconnected over SMTP, and payments aren’t refunded.

Versus lemlist: lead credits come with every paid plan, and a LinkedIn slot costs $59 a month instead of a $109 Multichannel seat. Opens and clicks are off by default. See Reachkit vs Snov.io and the Snov.io profile.

9. GMass: best for sending from Gmail

GMass is a Chrome extension that turns Gmail into a mail-merge and cold email tool. Campaigns go out from your Google account, and replies land in each Gmail inbox.

Price (October 2026): Standard is $29.95 a month ($249 a year). Premium, at $39.95 ($349 a year), adds follow-ups and the API. Professional, at $59.95 ($599 a year), adds MultiSend, which rotates sending across extra Google accounts without a per-account fee. A 5-user team plan is $175 a month. The trial lasts 7 days at 50 emails a day.

Strengths:

  • Nothing new to learn if your team already works in Gmail.
  • Rated 4.7 on the Chrome Web Store from about 9,200 ratings.

Drawbacks:

  • No warmup (GMass shut its own down in 2023), no lead database and no done-for-you inboxes.
  • Open and click tracking are on by default, so turn them off for cold email.

Versus lemlist: lighter and cheaper for a Gmail user, without lemlist’s warmup, data or LinkedIn. See Reachkit vs GMass and the GMass profile.

How to choose

Start with the channel question, because it splits the list in half.

  • Your sequences rely on LinkedIn steps and calls: Reply.io keeps all three in one tool. Salesforge is cheaper if one LinkedIn sender per plan is enough.
  • LinkedIn is your main channel and you run many accounts: HeyReach, paired with Instantly or Smartlead for email.
  • You send email alone at high volume and own your list: Instantly, or GMass if everything already lives in Gmail.
  • You run outbound for many clients: Smartlead, for white-label client workspaces.
  • You want data in the plan price: Saleshandy, Snov.io or Reachkit, depending on whether you also want the inboxes set up for you.

Before you cancel, price your current lemlist bill with credits and mailboxes included, then price the alternative at the same volume. The headline plan rarely tells you what the month will cost.

lemlist alternatives: common questions

What are some good alternatives to lemlist?

It depends on what you use lemlist for. For email, LinkedIn and calls in one sequence, look at Reply.io or Salesforge. For LinkedIn across many accounts, HeyReach. For email alone, Instantly, Smartlead, Saleshandy, Snov.io, GMass or Reachkit, which is our product. Each is priced in October 2026 on this page.

Is lemlist better than Instantly?

For multichannel outreach, lemlist fits better, since Instantly sends email only. For email volume, Instantly's Hypergrowth plan at $97 a month covers 100,000 to 125,000 emails, while lemlist's Email plan gives 50,000 for $69 and 100,000 for $89, as of October 2026. Instantly's entry plan can't reply from its shared inbox.

Is lemlist better than Apollo?

They lead in different places. Apollo starts from a large contact database with credits on every paid seat, and adds sequences. lemlist starts from outreach, with LinkedIn steps, calls and personalized images in one sequence, and an Email plan with no per-user charge. Our lemlist vs Apollo comparison goes through the prices side by side.

Is there a free alternative to lemlist?

Snov.io's free Trial plan renews every month, but with 50 credits and 100 recipients, and its own pricing page says it isn't meant to grow sales. The others on this list offer free trials instead: 7 days on GMass and Saleshandy, 14 days on Instantly, Smartlead, HeyReach and Salesforge, and 30 days on Reachkit.

How much does lemlist cost?

As of October 2026, lemlist's Email plan costs $69 a month for 50,000 emails ($55 billed yearly), with no credits included. Multichannel, with LinkedIn, calls and SMS, costs $109 per user a month ($87 yearly). Credits for finding emails start at $20 a month for 2,000, and mailboxes bought in lemlist start at $10 a month.

What is cheaper than lemlist for cold email?

On entry price, GMass starts at $29.95 a month, and Smartlead, Snov.io and Reachkit at $39, as of October 2026. Cheaper per email is a different question: lemlist's Email plan includes 50,000 emails for $69, more volume than most of those entry plans. Compare at the volume you really send.

My take

I wouldn’t leave lemlist if its LinkedIn steps or personalized images are what get you replies; that combination is the part of lemlist I’d test hardest before moving. If you send email alone, though, I’d look hard at what the $69 really becomes once credits and mailboxes are added, because that’s where most switchers find the gap.

I build Reachkit for the second group: people who want the inboxes, the warmup and the leads handled in one workspace price. It doesn’t do LinkedIn, so if that matters to you, start with Reply.io or HeyReach. For the full picture, see Reachkit vs lemlist, the lemlist profile and the Apollo alternatives.
