Zoho Campaigns pricing
Zoho Campaigns pricing starts at $4 a month for 500 contacts on Standard, or $3 billed yearly, and the bill moves with your list size, not how often you mail it. Prices are in US dollars from zoho.com/campaigns/pricing and the price data it loads, as of October 2026, before local taxes.
| Plan | From | Contacts | Emails and users |
|---|---|---|---|
| Forever Free | $0 | Up to 2,000 | 6,000 emails a month, 5 users |
| Standard | $4/mo ($3 billed yearly) | 500 to 100,000 | Unlimited emails, 10 users |
| Professional | $6/mo ($4.50 billed yearly) | 500 to 500,000 | Unlimited emails, 20 users |
| Contacts | Standard: monthly / yearly per month | Professional: monthly / yearly per month |
|---|---|---|
| 1,000 | $7 / $5.25 | $12 / $9 |
| 2,500 | $17 / $12.75 | $29 / $21.75 |

Yearly billing takes 25% off. The page opens on yearly prices; the monthly ones come from its price data and match third-party tables. There’s no 2,000 tier, and lists over 500,000 go to sales. The plan cards list 5, 10 and 20 users (20+ on the English Professional card), while the pricing FAQ says an admin can have up to four.
Going over. A sync that passes your tier upgrades you automatically, charged on the next billing date. Imports ask first, and with auto-upgrade off you can’t add contacts.
Pay as you go sells email credits instead: one per email, no expiry, no refunds, and no workflows or SMS.
Extras. A dedicated IP is $30 a month billed yearly ($360) per Zoho’s help center; some third-party sites say $35. SMS and WhatsApp credits cost extra. The Agency Edition is yearly only, from 10,000 contacts, for up to 10 clients.
A typical setup: a shop mailing 2,000 contacts weekly outgrows Free’s 6,000 emails and, with no 2,000 tier, lands on Standard at 2,500: $17 a month, or $153 billed yearly. At 10,000 contacts it’s $49 a month on Standard ($441 billed yearly) or $81 on Professional ($729 billed yearly).
What Zoho Campaigns does
Zoho Campaigns sends marketing email, SMS and WhatsApp messages to people who opted in, and it’s made by Zoho Corporation, the company behind Zoho CRM. You import contacts by CSV or sync them from Zoho CRM, Google Contacts or Shopify, sort them into lists and segments, then send regular, A/B, chain or RSS campaigns from a drag-and-drop editor. Abandoned-cart and purchase workflows are on Professional; Zoho’s plan comparison gives Standard basic workflows, though its pay-as-you-go page calls automation Professional-only.
Mail leaves from Zoho’s servers on shared IPs unless you buy a dedicated IP, which you then warm up yourself. Nothing here connects or warms your own inboxes. Zoho’s terms let it review campaign content and slow sends, especially to a list mailed for the first time.
Zia, Zoho’s AI, drafts copy and suggests grammar and tone fixes; on Professional it also picks send times. The API is on every plan, Free included. Zoho’s MCP server, launched in March 2026 so assistants like Claude can work inside Zoho apps, doesn’t list Campaigns; Zapier and Pipedream offer connectors.
A rebuilt Zoho Campaigns 3.0 adds a new editor and WhatsApp campaigns, but Zoho’s homepage says it’s only open to new users for now, and existing accounts keep their plan unchanged.
Zoho Campaigns strengths and drawbacks
Strengths
- Low, published prices. $3 a month billed yearly for 500 contacts, and a free plan for 2,000. EmailToolTester calls it “the cheaper of the two, offering similar features to Mailchimp at a fraction of the price”.
- Mail as often as you like. Paid plans include unlimited emails and teammates up to the user limit, with no seat fees.
- Built for the Zoho stack. Zoho CRM sync dates from the 2012 launch, and every plan connects to Zoho apps like Books and Desk, plus Salesforce, HubSpot and Shopify. See the Zoho CRM profile.
- Readable reports. PCMag praises “a colorful report summary that clearly shows delivery, bounces, and unique opens”.
Drawbacks
- Support. As of October 2026, the top Google result for “zoho campaigns review” is a Reddit thread saying “There’s no real phone support, despite it being advertised.” On G2, Quality of Support is its lowest score, at 8.3 out of 10.
- Automatic stops. Campaigns stop above 5% hard bounces or 0.1% spam complaints, and some forum users report accounts on hold or mail in spam. Zoho treats these as list problems and explains its limits.
- A dated editor. G2 and Capterra reviewers mention old-looking templates and a learning curve for complex workflows, which the 3.0 editor targets.
What Zoho Campaigns users say
As of October 2026, Zoho Campaigns rates 4.3 out of 5 on G2 from about 1,040 reviews and 4.3 on Capterra from about 315, read from search results because both sites blocked direct checks. It has no Trustpilot page of its own; Zoho’s single company profile, 3.8 from 6,170 reviews, mostly covers other Zoho apps.
Reviewers like the price and the Zoho CRM link, and Capterra’s value-for-money score sits at 4.4. Complaints gather around support, deliverability and an editor that feels behind the times; one Gartner Peer Insights headline reads “Integration Challenges and Unintuitive Design Complicate Zoho Campaigns Experience”.
Who Zoho Campaigns is for
Zoho Campaigns fits small businesses that mail their own subscribers on a tight budget, especially those already on Zoho CRM, Books or Zoho One, or selling through Shopify or WooCommerce. Frequent senders gain most, since a daily newsletter costs no more than a monthly one at the same list size.
Look elsewhere if quick, hands-on support matters to you, or if you want to email B2B prospects who never signed up. Zoho’s anti-spam policy bans addresses “collected from other websites” or bought from a third party, and that outreach belongs on separate domains and inboxes anyway (my cold email infrastructure guide covers the setup). If you stay, I’d verify every import before the first send, since 5% bounces is where Zoho stops a campaign.
Alternatives to Zoho Campaigns
- Mailchimp: the familiar name, from $13 a month for 500 contacts on Essentials; third-party tables put 10,000 contacts at about $110, against $49 on Zoho’s Standard. See the Mailchimp profile.
- Brevo: charges by emails sent rather than contacts stored, with a free plan of 300 emails a day and Starter from $9 for 5,000 emails. See the Brevo profile.
- MailerLite: free for 250 subscribers, then Comfort from $12 a month for 500, with sends capped at 10 times the tier. See the MailerLite profile.
- ActiveCampaign: deeper automation, from $15 a month billed yearly for 1,000 contacts. See the ActiveCampaign profile.
- Reachkit (our product): for B2B outreach to people who haven’t opted in, which Zoho’s terms forbid. It finds verified leads and sends from your own inboxes (no per-inbox fee) or ones it sets up and warms, from $39 a month per workspace; on the $99 Scale plan, positive replies flow into Zoho CRM.
