Woodpecker pricing

Woodpecker pricing starts at $35 a month for 500 contacted prospects, and every tier sits on one slider at woodpecker.co/pricing. Prices exclude VAT and were checked in October 2026.

Prospects contacted a monthMonthlyYearly (per month)Free warmup slots
500$35$23.332
2,000$67$44.676
4,000$99$6610
10,000$188$125.3320
25,000$395$263.3350

The slider runs up to 1,000,000 prospects. Each tier’s email allowance is 16 times its prospect quota, and the tiers shown include 100 to 650 Lead Finder credits a month. Teammates and connected mailboxes carry no fee. Yearly billing is marked “SAVE 33%” and paid upfront.

How the meter counts: anyone a campaign touches uses quota, including addresses Woodpecker only checks for validity, and each further campaign the same person joins uses it again. Follow-ups are free. The quota resets every month, on yearly plans too, without rollover, and at the cap new prospects wait while follow-ups continue.

Add-ons, per month: extra warmup ($5 per mailbox), one $20 add-on for integrations, the API, webhooks and MCP, LinkedIn ($29 per account), the Agency Panel ($27 per active client, white label $5 more), Lead Finder credits (from $10 for 500) and bought mailboxes ($6 on Google or Microsoft, $4 elsewhere). Domains are $13 to $20 a year per the help center, or about $1 a month billed yearly per the pricing page.

What a typical setup costs: a founder emailing 1,500 new prospects a month from 10 bought Google mailboxes on 5 domains pays $67 for the tier, $60 for mailboxes and about $5.42 to $8.33 for domains. Warming all 10 at once adds $20: about $152 to $155 a month before lead data. With mailboxes you already own and the free warmup slots rotated, it stays at $67.

What Woodpecker does

Woodpecker sends cold email sequences with conditions and A/B tests from mailboxes you connect (Google, Microsoft, any IMAP/SMTP account or a service like Amazon SES) or buy in the app, which its homepage says come with SPF, DKIM and DMARC set. A campaign rotates across up to 100 mailboxes and keeps one sender per prospect.

Warmup comes from Mailivery or Warmy, not a network of Woodpecker’s own. You add it mailbox by mailbox, and Woodpecker suggests turning it off before the first campaign because warmup mail counts toward the provider’s daily limit. It advises 25 to 35 cold emails per mailbox a day, never above 50. Addresses are verified before sending, adaptive sending slows a mailbox nearing its provider’s limit, and an optional bounce monitor pauses a campaign once bounces reach a set rate, 2% by default.

Replies land in a centralized inbox that syncs about every 20 minutes, where AI tags the first reply by interest. Around that sit a Lead Finder Woodpecker puts at over 1 billion contacts, a free AI email writer, an AI Agent that drafts campaigns, and a hosted MCP server so Claude, ChatGPT or Codex can run your Woodpecker campaigns. The pricing page puts MCP in the $20 add-on; the hosted setup docs ask only for an account.

Woodpecker strengths and drawbacks

Strengths

  • No seat or mailbox fees. Five teammates pay the same tier price as one (pricing).
  • Safeguards cost nothing extra. Verification with catch-all checks, adaptive sending, bounce pausing and provider matching (verification).
  • Agency tooling. Clients connect mailboxes without handing over passwords (pricing), and white label puts reports on your subdomain (help center).
  • A growing builder surface. 2026 brought a Lead Finder API, a domains API and hosted MCP (changelog).
  • Plain-spoken docs. The warmup page lists five things warmup won’t fix, and the adaptive sending page caps its advice at 50 emails a day per mailbox.

Drawbacks

  • Add-ons stack up. More warmup, CRM sync, LinkedIn and each agency client are separate monthly lines.
  • One reader per inbox. On a standard account each person sees only the mailboxes they connected (centralized inbox).
  • Bought domains stay put. The help center says purchased domains and mailboxes work only in Woodpecker, without DNS access, though Google, Microsoft and Azure mailboxes can be opened outside it (help center).
  • Tight refunds. Under the September 2026 terms, a refund needs an unused account and a request within three days of payment, yearly plans get none, and billing errors are the exception (terms).

What Woodpecker users say

Woodpecker holds roughly 4.5 stars on both G2, across about 105 reviews, and Capterra, across about 33, as of October 2026. G2 reviewers mention customer support and ease of use most.

The Trustpilot page is far lower at 2.5 from 35 reviews, though three are really about unrelated businesses. Refused refunds come up in three 2026 reviews there, a 2023 reviewer complained of paying for add-on after add-on, and two 2026 reviews disliked the interface after an update or hit errors during setup.

Who Woodpecker is for

Woodpecker fits people who reach a few hundred new prospects a month, agencies that want every client’s stats in one panel with reports under their own brand, and teams that want LinkedIn touches inside email sequences. It also suits anyone who likes a slow start: Woodpecker budgets two to three months to warm a brand-new domain.

Look elsewhere if you’ll put the same people into several campaigns, since each one uses quota again, or if your team works replies together in one shared view. If you do choose Woodpecker, I’d total the add-ons you’ll really use before picking a tier.

Woodpecker: common questions

How much does Woodpecker cost?

On monthly billing, Woodpecker charges $35 for up to 500 contacted prospects, $67 for 2,000 and $188 for 10,000; yearly billing brings those to $23.33, $44.67 and $125.33 a month. There's no fee per user or mailbox. Paid extras include warmup beyond the free slots at $5 a mailbox, a $20 integrations and API add-on, $29 per LinkedIn account and $27 per agency client. October 2026 prices, before VAT.

Is Woodpecker legit?

Yes. Woodpecker has been around since 2015 and is run by Woodpecker AI sp. z o.o. in Wrocław, Poland, a subsidiary of Woodpecker.co S.A., which has been listed on the main market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange since April 2024. It rates about 4.5 on G2 and Capterra. On Trustpilot it has 2.5 from 35 reviews as of October 2026, where refused refunds are a frequent recent complaint.

Does Woodpecker have a free plan or free trial?

There's no free plan. The free trial lasts 14 days or 100 cold emails, whichever comes first, with every feature except LinkedIn and no credit card, and Woodpecker says its chat team can extend it. When it ends, campaigns pause and the account is deleted after some time unless you upgrade.

Is Reachkit cheaper than Woodpecker?

Not for very small lists: Woodpecker's 500-prospect tier is $35 a month, against $39 for Growth on Reachkit, which is our product. With 10 done-for-you inboxes across 5 domains reaching 1,500 new prospects monthly, Reachkit comes to about $95 and Woodpecker about $132 to $135, plus $20 if all 10 warm at once, before lead data. Reachkit Growth's 5,000 stored contacts fill in month four unless you clear finished campaigns. Checked October 2026.
