Close CRM pricing

Close CRM pricing has three meters: seats, telephony at cost, and AI credits. Seat prices are from close.com/pricing, in USD per user per month, as of October 2026.

PlanMonthlyBilled yearlyWhat it adds
Solo$19$91 user, up to 10,000 leads, 3 mailboxes
Essentials$49$35Unlimited leads, team inbox, open tracking, 3 mailboxes
Growth$109$99Workflows, bulk email, power dialer, 10 mailboxes
Scale$149$139Predictive dialer, call coaching, permissions, custom graphs

A Custom tier sits behind a demo. The toggle says yearly billing saves “up to 50%”, and the real gap varies a lot: about 53% on Solo, but only 9% on Growth and 7% on Scale.

On top of seats: calls run around $0.02 a minute, phone numbers from about $1 a month, and enrichment $0.05 per field. Call Assistant (recording and summaries) is $50 a month plus $0.02 a minute. Each plan includes AI credits per user (500 on Solo up to 2,000 on Scale, pooled, no rollover), and more cost $20 a month for 1,200 up to $10,000 for 1,000,000 (AI credits). Close doesn’t publish how many credits a voice-agent call or an auto update uses.

What a typical setup costs: three reps who need sequences land on Growth, which comes to $3,564 a year billed yearly or $327 a month billed monthly, before usage. Close’s pricing page also offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.

What Close does

Close is a CRM for teams whose day is calls and follow-ups. Leads (companies) hold Contacts and Opportunities, saved Smart Views drive the daily work, and one inbox gathers the emails, texts, calls and tasks due.

Calling, voicemail, call logging and SMS are built in on every plan. Growth adds a power dialer, and Scale adds a predictive dialer and live coaching.

Email goes out through mailboxes you connect, such as Gmail or Office 365, or a bulk service like SendGrid. Workflows (Close’s sequences) mix email, SMS and call steps, send on weekdays between 9 AM and 4 PM in the contact’s time zone by default, and stop when the contact replies or books a meeting. Close doesn’t document mailbox warmup, rotation across many inboxes or buying inboxes for you.

Chloe, launched in June 2026, is an AI agent that calls leads, qualifies them and books meetings. Close’s blog says it’s available to US customers and handles voice only for now. Close also runs an official MCP server, a standard way for AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT to read and update your CRM.

Close strengths and drawbacks

Strengths

  • Phone tools from the cheapest plan. Calls, texts, call logging and numbers come with every plan, and the dialers arrive on Growth and Scale (pricing).
  • Quick to learn. Reviewers on G2 and Capterra praise the ease of use, and one Capterra reviewer called the UI “easy to learn compared to many other CRMs”.
  • Open pricing. Every plan but Custom is self-serve, with a 14-day trial and no card.
  • Open to builders. API access, an event log and the MCP server are on every plan, with read-only and write scopes (MCP docs).

Drawbacks

  • Automation costs $99 a user. Workflows, bulk email, unsubscribe management and sending limits all start at Growth.
  • Hard-to-predict usage. Telephony, enrichment and AI credits are billed apart from seats, and the credit cost per AI action isn’t published.
  • Thin reporting below Scale. Custom graphs are Scale only, and limited reporting is a repeated complaint in Capterra reviews.
  • Not a cold email sender. Connected mailboxes cap at 3 or 10, and the per-mailbox sending limits admins can set are off by default; Close applies the provider’s own limits when it can detect the provider (sending limits).

What Close users say

Close holds 4.7 out of 5 on G2 from about 2,100 reviews and 4.7 on Capterra from 164, as of October 2026. Capterra scores value for money at 4.4, below ease of use at 4.6.

Praise centers on ease of use, and the complaints repeat. One Capterra reviewer wrote that “the reporting functionality leaves a lot to be desired”, and a Software Advice review from before the current plans called it a “very expensive platform, especially if you want calling features”.

Trustpilot shows 4.5 from a small sample of 75 reviews. Its AI summary says some reviewers found support unresponsive on urgent technical issues, while its topic notes describe customer service mostly positively.

Who Close is for

Close fits a small inside-sales team that books meetings by calling and texting as much as by email, and wants the dialer, inbox and pipeline in one place.

Look elsewhere if you need a free CRM, deep reporting on a mid-tier budget, or cold email at volume across dozens of inboxes. If you do pick Close and also run cold email, I’d let a dedicated sender handle the warmed inboxes and keep Close for the calls and the pipeline.

Alternatives to Close

  • Pipedrive: a pipeline-first CRM from $14 a seat billed yearly, with email sync from its Growth plan. See the Pipedrive profile.
  • HubSpot: a free CRM to start, but sequences need Sales Hub Professional at $90 a seat billed yearly plus a one-time $1,500 onboarding fee. See Reachkit vs HubSpot.
  • Copper: a CRM built around Google Workspace, from $23 a seat billed yearly. See the Copper profile.
  • Zoho CRM: free for up to 3 users, with paid plans from $14 a user billed yearly. See the Zoho CRM profile.
  • lemlist: a multichannel outreach tool that syncs campaign activity into Close, for teams that want to keep Close as the CRM. See the lemlist profile.
  • Reachkit (our product): adds what Close doesn’t document: warmup and rotation across your inboxes, connected free or set up for you ($15/yr per domain, $5/mo per inbox). It doesn’t call or text and has no Close sync; Zapier, n8n or webhooks need Scale ($99/mo).

Close CRM: common questions

How much does Close CRM cost per month?

Close costs $19, $49, $109 or $149 per user a month on monthly billing for Solo, Essentials, Growth and Scale, or $9, $35, $99 and $139 a month billed yearly. Calls, phone numbers, enrichment and extra AI credits are billed on top.

Is Close a good CRM?

For phone-heavy sales teams, reviewers think so: Close holds 4.7 on G2 from about 2,100 reviews and 4.7 on Capterra as of October 2026, with ease of use praised most. The usual complaints are limited reporting and costs that rise with workflows and calling.

Is Close CRM legit?

Yes. Close has been sold as a product since 2013, was founded by Steli Efti, Anthony Nemitz and Thomas Steinacher, and says it is self-funded and profitable with no outside investors.

Does Close have a free plan?

No. Close offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card. If you don't upgrade, the account pauses and the data is deleted after a limited period. The cheapest paid plan is Solo at $9 a month billed yearly for a single user.

How can I cancel my Close CRM subscription?

Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time. On yearly plans, a cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing term. Cancelling the main organization also cancels any linked secondary ones, and your data stays retrievable for 30 days afterwards, per Close's terms.

Close vs Pipedrive: which is cheaper?

It depends on team size. For one user, Close Solo ($9 a month billed yearly) undercuts Pipedrive Lite ($14 a seat). For a team, Pipedrive Lite is cheaper than Close Essentials ($35 a user). Close includes calling and SMS on every plan; Pipedrive is built around a visual deal pipeline and adds email sync on its Growth plan.
