YAMM pricing
YAMM pricing is $72 a year for a personal Gmail account and $144 a year for a Google Workspace account, per user. The pricing page shows $6 and $12 a month, but every subscription is billed for a year. These are the dollar prices on yamm.com/pricing in October 2026; YAMM says prices vary by billing country and exclude tax.
| Plan | Price (billed yearly) | Recipients a day | Account type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Up to 20 | Gmail or Workspace |
| Pro gmail.com | $72 a year | Up to 400 | @gmail.com |
| Pro Google Workspace | $144 a year | Up to 1,500 | Workspace |
The quota counts recipients, cc included, over a rolling 24 hours. The 1,500 needs, among other conditions, a paid Workspace account past Google’s trial that hasn’t sent over 500 emails in the last 24 hours. During a new Workspace account’s trial and warm-up period, Pro stops at 400 (quota guide).
Pro adds the higher quota, bounce list management and scheduling. The pricing page lists scheduling on all three cards, while the help center says it needs Pro.
Teams: Workspace Pro is bought per seat, upfront, for members on one domain; gmail.com accounts can’t add members. Team and Unlimited tab prices couldn’t be confirmed on YAMM’s page, and third-party figures disagree.
Refunds: plans renew automatically (billing FAQ). Refunds need “extraordinary circumstances” and are never prorated or given after 90 days (pricing FAQ).
Older prices still circulate. In 2022 the plans cost $25 and $50 a year, and several pages ranking for “YAMM pricing” still quote them and a 50-a-day free plan.
What YAMM does
YAMM turns a Gmail draft and a Google Sheet into a mail merge. You write the email in Gmail, with images, attachments and your signature, list recipients in a sheet, and start the merge from the Sheets menu. Tracking columns fill in next to each row as people open, click, reply, bounce or unsubscribe.
Sending happens inside your own account. YAMM’s data policy says it sends from your mailbox through the Gmail API and has no email servers of its own. There’s no Outlook version. Bigger lists are split over several days.
- Follow-ups are sent by hand from the tracking report, to non-openers, non-repliers, openers or everyone. YAMM’s docs describe no automatic multi-step sequences.
- Scheduling up to two weeks ahead, one merge at a time.
- CRMs through Sheets: HubSpot and Salesforce contacts are imported into a sheet with Talarian’s Awesome Table Connectors.
yamm.com and its help center describe no built-in AI, public API, warmup, inbox rotation or domain setup. YAMM began in 2011 as a free Apps Script and is made by Talarian, registered in Luxembourg.
YAMM strengths and drawbacks
Strengths
- Nothing new to learn. The whole workflow is a Gmail draft plus a Google Sheet (yamm.com), and G2’s review summary says users praise its ease of use and Sheets integration.
- Low cost. $72 or $144 a year per user, and the free plan carries no YAMM footer (pricing).
- Your data stays in Google. YAMM says it keeps no copies of your emails or lists outside Google, and its Marketplace listing says Talarian is ISO 27001 certified.
- Personal touches. Per-recipient attachments, Gmail aliases and follow-ups that can stay in the original thread (follow-up guide).
Drawbacks
- Gmail only. Outlook and Microsoft 365 users can’t use it.
- Daily caps. G2’s summary names the daily limit as a common complaint.
- Manual follow-ups. Each one is a new send you start yourself.
- Not built for cold email at volume. YAMM’s pages list no warmup, rotation across inboxes or extra domains.
- Yearly only. There’s no monthly plan.
What YAMM users say
YAMM holds 4.9 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 451 reviews as of October 2026, mostly five stars, with praise for how easy it is and how fast support answers. Search results show 4.3 on G2 from 91 reviews and 4.5 on Capterra from 38. The Google Workspace Marketplace lists about 18,100 ratings, and YAMM’s site cites a 4.7 average there.
The most repeated complaint is the free plan’s cut from 50 to 20 recipients a day in late 2024, on G2, Capterra and in Trustpilot’s low ratings. Others are the daily caps on bigger lists and two Trustpilot reviewers (2024, 2025) reporting trouble cancelling; YAMM replied to one that users can cancel themselves. One Capterra reviewer found it “more manual than other mail merge programs.”
Who YAMM is for
YAMM fits people who already work in Gmail and Sheets and write to people who know them: a school office sending updates, a nonprofit inviting volunteers, or a founder emailing customers. If a few hundred recipients a day is enough, $72 or $144 a year is hard to beat.
Look elsewhere if you use Outlook, want automatic follow-up sequences, or plan to cold email new lists from several inboxes. If you try YAMM for cold email anyway, I’d keep it off your main company mailbox and stay far under the quota; that’s what YAMM allows, not a pace I’d run cold email at. This guide to cold email infrastructure covers the setup.

YAMM: common questions
How much does a YAMM subscription cost?
YAMM Pro costs $72 a year for a personal @gmail.com account and $144 a year for a Google Workspace account, per user, billed yearly only. The pricing page shows them as $6 and $12 a month. YAMM says prices vary by billing country and exclude tax. Checked October 2026.
Is YAMM for Gmail free?
Yes, there's a permanent free plan, but it sends to only 20 recipients a day, down from 50 before late 2024, with no YAMM branding. There's no trial of Pro, so the free plan is the way to test it.
Does YAMM have a limit?
Yes. YAMM caps recipients per rolling 24 hours: 20 on Free, 400 on Pro gmail.com and up to 1,500 on Pro Google Workspace, if the account meets YAMM's conditions. Cc'd recipients count, and bigger lists are split across several days.
Is YAMM legit and safe?
YAMM is a real product from Talarian, running since 2011 with 16M+ installs on the Google Workspace Marketplace. YAMM says it sends through the Gmail API from your own mailbox, has no mail servers of its own and keeps no copies of your emails or lists outside Google.
YAMM vs GMass: which should I pick?
Both send mail merges from Gmail with a Google Sheet. YAMM is cheaper at $72 or $144 a year per user and has a free plan, but follow-ups are manual. GMass costs $29.95 to $59.95 a month per Google account, has no free plan, and adds automatic follow-ups (Premium) and rotation across Google accounts (Professional). Checked October 2026.
