Outreach pricing and review
Outreach (formerly outreach.io) is a sales engagement platform where reps run email and call sequences from their own mailbox, with AI agents, call recording and forecasting sold per seat plus AI credits.
Outreach at a glance
Reachkit makes a cold email tool, so we compete with the prospecting side of Outreach. Every Outreach price here was checked in October 2026 against outreach.ai and Outreach’s own AWS Marketplace listing; third-party numbers are labelled.

Outreach pricing
Outreach pricing is quote-only. Every package on outreach.ai/pricing reads “Request pricing” (checked October 2026). Outreach describes “seat-based access” plus “consumption-based AI credits”, and promises “No platform fees. Support included.”
| Package | Built around | AI credits |
|---|---|---|
| Amplify Essentials | Meeting recording, coaching, deal management | 10,000 |
| Amplify Core | Sequences, dialer, research and personalization agents | 25,000 |
| Amplify Plus | Essentials and Core together | 50,000 |
| Amplify Pro | Plus, with forecasting and managed services | 100,000 |
You pick Essentials or Core to start. Outreach doesn’t say whether credits are per seat or per account, or monthly or yearly.
AI credits. AI actions spend credits: 1 per Research Agent run or Omni answer, 2 per meeting brief, 0.10 per MCP tool call (rate card, updated August 2026). Beyond your order, a credit costs $1.40, billed monthly in arrears, and usage isn’t cut off (pay-as-you-go terms).
Reference prices. Outreach’s only public seat price is an AWS Marketplace listing under the older package name “Orchestrate”: $108,000 for 50 seats over 12 months, about $180 per seat a month. Vendr put the median contract at $45,600 a year in February 2026, ranging from $8,660 to $215,400. Woodpecker and MarketBetter, both competitors, estimate roughly $100 to $160 or more per user a month by package, so 10 reps would pay about $12,000 to $19,200 or more a year before overages. MarketBetter also reports a $2,000 to $5,000 yearly platform fee, which Outreach’s page contradicts, so ask for it in writing.
Contract terms. Under Outreach’s standard terms, orders are non-cancelable and non-refundable, and the agreement renews for 12 months unless either side gives notice at least 30 days before the term ends. An order form can override that; MarketBetter says reviewers report 90-day notice windows.
What Outreach does
Outreach turns a sales team’s prospecting into a daily task list. Reps add prospects to sequences of emails, calls and tasks, call from the built-in dialer, and record meetings in Kaia, its conversation intelligence. Managers get deal management and forecasting on top.
Email goes out from each rep’s connected Google or Microsoft 365 mailbox, or Exchange and SMTP/IMAP. A user gets 2 mailboxes unless the contract allows more, and every mailbox has a hard cap of 5,000 emails a week. I found nothing in Outreach’s help center on buying inboxes or domains, and warmup isn’t built in: its deliverability playbook describes a manual ramp of about 30 days for a new domain, and apps like Allegrow sell warmup through its marketplace.
Outreach has no contact database; Smart Data Enrichment pulls from partners such as ZoomInfo, SalesIntel and LeadIQ. Nor is it a CRM. It syncs natively with Salesforce or Dynamics 365, one at a time, and with HubSpot through a connector HubSpot maintains.
April 2026 brought Omni, a chat agent in the app, Slack and mobile, and Agent Studio for building custom agents. An MCP server (a standard way for AI assistants to use other apps) lets Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Agentforce and Codex sequence prospects and update records.
Outreach strengths and drawbacks
Strengths
- A sequencing engine reps like. G2’s review summary says users value Outreach’s automation for streamlining prospecting.
- Two-way Salesforce sync. Data syncs both ways, and a 2020 Capterra reviewer wrote that “sequencing, call recording, prospecting tracking, Salesforce integration are all great”.
- Prospecting to forecast in one tool. Plus combines sequences, the dialer, Kaia and deals; Pro adds forecasting.
- A public credit rate card. Per-action costs and the overage rate are published, so AI spend can be modeled before signing.
Drawbacks
- No seat price without a sales call, and orders are non-cancelable under the standard terms.
- AI spend moves with usage. Overages bill in arrears with no hard stop.
- A complex interface. TrustRadius’s review summary lists a “complex and sometimes outdated user interface” among the cons, next to unreliable Salesforce syncing.
- Built for reps, not cold email volume. Two mailboxes per user by default, 5,000 emails a week per mailbox, no warmup of its own.
What Outreach users say
Outreach rates 4.3 out of 5 on G2 from about 3,570 reviews and 4.4 on Capterra from 311, as of October 2026. Reviewers praise sequencing, task management and the Salesforce integration. High cost is the con G2’s summaries cite most; bugs also come up.
Trustpilot shows 2.4 from 41 reviews, but several are about other businesses (fibre engineer visits, for one) and a 2022 cluster is about Outreach as an employer. Among the product reviews, support is the most common complaint: an April 2025 reviewer wrote “Their customer support is awful, slow, or non-existent.” I’d weigh G2 and Capterra, with thousands of reviews, apart from a few dozen mixed ones.
Who Outreach is for
Outreach fits a sales org with SDRs and AEs on Salesforce or Dynamics 365 that wants sequences, calling, meeting recording and forecasting from one vendor, with someone to own the rollout and an annual budget to commit.
Look elsewhere if you want month-to-month billing, a price without talking to sales, or cold email from many inboxes. Outreach sends from each rep’s own mailbox, usually on the company domain. When most of your outbound is first-touch cold email, I’d keep that volume on separate domains with a tool built for it, and leave the main domain for people who already know you.
Alternatives to Outreach
- Salesloft: the nearest match, with cadences, calling and Clari’s forecasting. Also quote-only; trackers report $125 to $165 per user a month. See the Salesloft profile.
- HubSpot Sales Hub: sequences and the CRM together at a published price. Professional, the tier with sequences, runs $90 a seat monthly on an annual plan, and onboarding adds $1,500 once. See Reachkit vs HubSpot.
- Apollo: its own B2B contact database plus sequences and calling. Basic costs $49 per seat a month on yearly billing, and there’s a free plan. See the Apollo profile.
- Reply.io: email, LinkedIn and calls in one sequence. Multichannel costs $89 per user monthly when paid yearly. See the Reply.io profile.
- Reachkit (our product): covers the cold email part only: it registers separate domains, sets up Google or Microsoft inboxes and starts their warmup, keeping first-touch volume off your main domain. No dialer, call recording or forecasting. From $39 a month per workspace, no seat fees.
Outreach: common questions
How much does Outreach cost?
Outreach's pricing page shows no seat prices; every package is quote-only. Its one public seat price is an AWS Marketplace listing under the older package name Orchestrate, at $108,000 a year for 50 seats, about $180 per seat a month, and Vendr reported a median contract of $45,600 a year in February 2026. AI credits used beyond your order cost $1.40 each. Checked October 2026.
Does Outreach have a free trial or free plan?
No. Outreach offers neither a free plan nor a free trial as of October 2026. The pricing page's markup lists $0 for each package, but that's a placeholder, not a free tier.
Is Outreach.io legit?
Yes. Outreach Corporation was founded in 2014, is based in Seattle and names Databricks, SAP, Siemens and Verizon as customers. It rates 4.3 on G2 from about 3,570 reviews as of October 2026. Its 2.4 on Trustpilot comes from 41 reviews, several about unrelated companies, with support the main complaint among the product reviews.
Is Outreach a CRM?
No. Outreach sits on top of a CRM rather than replacing one. It syncs natively with Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365, one at a time, and with HubSpot through a connector HubSpot maintains. Accounts and deals stay in the CRM; reps work sequences, calls and tasks in Outreach.
Is Outreach the same as outreach.io?
Yes. Outreach moved its website from outreach.io to outreach.ai with its April 2026 product release, and outreach.io/pricing now redirects to the new domain. The help center still runs on support.outreach.io.
