Salesloft pricing and review

Salesloft is a sales engagement platform where reps work cadences of emails, calls and LinkedIn tasks, now combined with Clari's forecasting and sold on quote-only contracts.

Salesloft at a glance

Reachkit makes a cold email tool, which overlaps with one part of what Salesloft does. The Salesloft facts on this page were checked in October 2026 against its sales page, help center and contract terms, and third-party figures are labelled.

Salesloft pricing

Salesloft pricing isn’t published: salesloft.com/pricing now redirects to a “Talk to Sales” form with no plans or prices (checked October 2026).

Packages. Salesloft’s help center names two current packages, Advanced and Elite. Both cover Cadence, Rhythm, Conversations, Deals (Salesforce only), coaching, the Ask Salesloft agent, CRM sync and analytics. Elite adds a sandbox, multi-team admin and no-code signals from Salesforce custom objects. Essentials, Premier, Prospect and Enterprise are legacy packages, no longer sold. The sales page now groups products into families instead, so package names may change again.

Add-ons. The help center lists four add-ons: Forecasting, Account Agent, Coaching Agent and the Dialer. The dialer’s “unlimited” plans carry a fair-use cap of 3,000 minutes per user a month, pooled across the team (product terms). The MCP server needs a purchased Agent package.

What buyers report paying. These figures come from third parties, several of them competitors:

SourceDateFigure
VendrFeb 2026Median $30,740 a year; range $5,152 to $146,494
Vendr estimateFeb 2026Advanced $125 to $150 per user a month on list
LandbaseApr 2026$125 to $165 list; $100 to $130 negotiated

At $125 to $165 per user, 10 reps come to about $15,000 to $19,800 a year before add-ons.

Contract terms. Under the February 2026 MSA, fees are invoiced in advance, non-cancelable and non-refundable, and multi-year terms are committed in full. Seats added mid-term cost the same per-seat price, prorated. The renewal notice period sits in each order form (several Trustpilot reviewers report 60 days), so ask for it before signing.

What Salesloft does

Salesloft runs on top of your CRM and gives reps a daily list of what to do next. The core is the Cadence: a sequence of email, phone, LinkedIn and other tasks for each prospect. Rhythm ranks the day’s actions from buyer signals, Conversations records and analyzes calls, and Deals tracks opportunities. For revenue leaders, Clari Forecast and Inspect sit in the same platform.

Reps send from their own connected Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 mailbox. Salesloft’s docs show no inbox setup, domain buying or warmup; warmup comes from marketplace partners such as Allegrow. There’s no built-in contact database either, so data comes from the CRM or partners like ZoomInfo. CRM sync is two-way with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and HubSpot.

On the AI side, agents such as Ask Salesloft, Account Research and Person Research answer questions and prepare accounts. An MCP server (a standard way for AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT to use other apps) launched in April 2026, next to a REST API.

The company changed a lot in a year. Salesloft merged with Clari in late 2025 and has used one brand, Salesloft, since September 2026, with Clari Forecast keeping its name. Drift, its chat product, is set to retire by January 31, 2027, with 1mind named as the successor.

Salesloft strengths and drawbacks

Strengths

  • A mature cadence engine. Ease of use is the most mentioned positive in G2 reviews, and automation is also a common one. One Gartner reviewer called it a “Time saver that easily got integrated with salesforce”.
  • Prospecting to forecast in one place. Cadences, call recording, deals and Clari’s forecasting sit under one brand.
  • Built for larger teams. Elite adds a sandbox for testing and multi-team admin, and Salesloft publishes its legal terms and DPA.
  • Open to AI tools. Salesloft’s April 2026 MCP launch named Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot and Gemini as clients, and the API is documented.

Drawbacks

  • No price without a sales call, and fees are prepaid and non-cancelable.
  • Calling complaints. “Call issues” is among the most common con themes in G2’s review summary.
  • Extension and sync glitches. A Gartner reviewer wrote in September 2026 that the Salesforce integration with the Chrome extension “glitches and stops working constantly.”
  • Not made for cold email at volume. It sends from reps’ own mailboxes, with no extra inboxes, domains or warmup.

What Salesloft users say

Salesloft holds 4.5 out of 5 on G2 from more than 4,000 reviews and 4.6 on Gartner Peer Insights from 1,214 ratings, as of October 2026. Reviewers there praise ease of use most often, along with automation. The recurring complaints are calling problems, a learning curve and an unreliable Chrome extension.

Trustpilot tells a different story: 2.2 from 19 reviews, mostly one star. The profile is unclaimed, and Trustpilot notes the company hasn’t invited customers, so those reviews may not be representative. One reviewer wrote: “I have never used a more clunky sales tool in my life.” Seven of the 19 complain about auto-renewal or cancellation notice. The two sources measure different things, so I wouldn’t average them.

Who Salesloft is for

Salesloft fits a sales team of SDRs and AEs that already lives in Salesforce, HubSpot or Dynamics 365 and wants cadences, calls, deal tracking and forecasting from one vendor. It makes the most sense when someone owns the rollout and the budget is set on an annual contract.

Look elsewhere if you want to sign up and send this week, pay month to month, or run cold email from many inboxes. Salesloft sends from each rep’s own mailbox, which is usually the company’s main domain. For outreach to people who’ve never heard of you, I’d keep that volume on separate domains so the main one stays clean for customer mail.

Alternatives to Salesloft

  • HubSpot Sales Hub: sequences and a CRM in one, from $90 per seat a month billed annually on Professional, plus $1,500 one-time onboarding. See Reachkit vs HubSpot.
  • Apollo: a contact database with sequencing and a dialer add-on, a free plan, and Basic at $49 per seat a month billed yearly. See the Apollo profile.
  • Reply.io: email, LinkedIn and calls in one sequence, with Multichannel at $89 per user a month billed yearly. See Reachkit vs Reply.io.
  • lemlist: multichannel sequences with LinkedIn and calling, at $87 per user a month billed yearly. See the lemlist profile.
  • Reachkit (our product): email only, with no calls, LinkedIn or forecasting. For cold volume kept off your main domain, Reachkit registers separate domains and sets up Google or Microsoft inboxes that start warmup automatically, on plans from $39 a month with no seat fees.

Salesloft: common questions

How much does Salesloft cost?

Salesloft doesn't publish prices; you get a quote after a sales call. Third-party trackers put list prices around $125 to $165 per user a month on annual contracts, and Vendr reported a median contract of $30,740 a year in February 2026. Dialer, agents and Forecast cost extra. Checked October 2026.

Does Salesloft have a free plan or free trial?

No. There's no free plan and no self-serve trial as of October 2026. Salesloft's contract allows trials and pilots at its own discretion, so any evaluation is arranged through the sales team after a demo.

Is Salesloft legit?

Yes. Salesloft was founded in Atlanta in 2011, says it serves more than 4,000 customers, merged with Clari in late 2025 and rates 4.5 on G2. In August 2025, attackers used stolen tokens from its Drift chat app to pull data from customers' Salesforce instances; Mandiant's investigation found the Salesloft and Drift environments were separated.

How is Salesloft different from Salesforce?

Salesforce is a CRM, the system of record for accounts, contacts and deals. Salesloft is not a CRM. It sits on top of Salesforce, HubSpot or Dynamics 365, syncs both ways, and gives reps the cadences, calls and daily task list they work from.

What is better than Salesloft?

It depends on the team. HubSpot Sales Hub suits teams that want sequences and the CRM from one vendor with a published price. Apollo suits teams that need contact data and sequencing together. Reply.io and lemlist suit smaller teams that want email, LinkedIn and calls in one sequence at a published per-user price.
