Mailmeteor pricing
Mailmeteor pricing starts at $0 on the Hobby plan, then $5.99, $17.99 and $35.99 per user a month, from mailmeteor.com/pricing in USD before VAT, as of October 2026.
| Plan | Per user a month | Emails a day / a month | Senders |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hobby | $0 | 50 / 500 | 1 |
| Starter | $5.99 | 250 / 5,000 | 1 |
| Premium | $17.99 | 1,000 / 30,000 | 5 |
| Professional | $35.99 | 2,000 / 60,000 | 10 |
Premium adds follow-ups, one warm-up inbox and the AI assistant. Professional adds inbox rotation, CRM integration and Pipelines. Mailmeteor’s quota doc gives Starter 7,500 emails a month, not the pricing page’s 5,000.
Monthly or yearly? The page offers yearly billing with “3 months free” but doesn’t say whether the prices shown are monthly or yearly. A third-party breakdown (coldmailer.ai) reads them as monthly, with yearly totals of $53.99, $161.99 and $323.99 per user.
Extras: verification is 50 free a month, then $0.01 each. The warm-up page lists extra warm-up inboxes at $9.99 a month each, though the pricing page shows no add-ons. That page still shows Premium at $14.99, and older reviews quote lower prices too (Starter at $4.99 in a February 2026 Woodpecker article).
What a typical setup costs:
- Follow-ups from one existing Workspace account: Premium, $17.99.
- A founder sending about 4,000 emails a month from 10 new Google Workspace inboxes on 5 domains needs Professional for rotation ($35.99, one seat, 10 senders), plus Google’s $8.40 per inbox and roughly $4 to $6 a month for domains: about $124 to $126. Warming the nine extra inboxes at $9.99 each brings it to about $214 to $216.
- Three teammates on Premium: $53.97, each with its own quota.
What Mailmeteor does
Mailmeteor sends one personalized copy of a template to each contact on a list, spaced out, from your own mailbox. Mailmeteor SAS of Paris started it in 2018. Contacts sit in a sheet, Excel, a CSV or the dashboard, and the template uses merge fields. It runs as Sheets, Docs and Excel add-ons, a Gmail extension and a web dashboard (the route for Outlook), plus an iPhone app for campaign results.
It connects Gmail and Workspace, Outlook and Microsoft 365, Zoho, or any SMTP server with IMAP for replies. It sells no domains or mailboxes and has no contact database.
Recent additions lean toward cold email: warm-up (September 2025), an AI assistant for Gmail that labels mail and drafts replies (January 2026), and in June 2026 a Deliverability Hub checking SPF, DKIM, DMARC and blacklists (on all plans, per the announcement; the pricing page lists it from Starter), plus rotation across 2 to 10 senders on Professional.
Mailmeteor strengths and drawbacks
Strengths
- A free plan you can use. Hobby sends 50 emails a day with tracking, templates and scheduling, and asks for no card (pricing).
- A lot for $35.99. Professional bundles rotation, a warm-up inbox and Pipelines for sorting replies (pricing).
- Staying power. 7M+ installs on the Google Workspace Marketplace and in business since 2018.
Drawbacks
- Two ceilings. The plan sets a daily quota and your provider another: a paid user on a @gmail.com address still stops at 500 a day (quota doc).
- Billed per user. Each seat is paid for and carries its own quota.
- The sending side is yours. No domains, inboxes or lead data, and the quota doc points anyone needing around 10,000 emails a day to Mailjet.
- Little to build on. No documented public API, and Zapier has 11 triggers but no actions, so nothing outside can start a campaign (Zapier).
- Its pages disagree. The follow-up doc says follow-ups have no limit; the pricing page lists 5 on Premium and 10 on Professional.
What Mailmeteor users say
Mailmeteor’s biggest rating pool is the Google Workspace Marketplace: 11,655 reviews and 4.9 out of 5 in the listing text, as of October 2026, the “4.9/5” Mailmeteor quotes on its site. Trustpilot shows 4.2 from 104 reviews, 14% of them one-star. Search results put Capterra at 4.7 from 51 and G2 at 4.0 from about 10, on an inactive profile.
Reviewers like merging straight from a sheet. Repeat complaints are slow or templated support (about half the one-star Trustpilot reviews), cold or bulk mail landing in spam or “marketing folders” (Reddit), and hitting the daily cap. A few one-star reviews allege unauthorized charges or charges after cancelling; Mailmeteor’s replies, some from the CEO, dispute charging after cancellation, point to a possibly compromised Google account or offer a refund.
Who Mailmeteor is for
Mailmeteor fits people sending personalized emails to a list they already hold, from their usual Gmail or Outlook account: updates, invitations, or modest outreach from a handful of mailboxes.
Look elsewhere for cold email across many new domains, for lead data or done-for-you inboxes, or for an API. If you do run cold outreach on it, warm each new inbox for about four weeks before judging results, and stay far below the 2,000-a-day ceiling: that’s what the plan allows, not what a fresh domain can carry (more on infrastructure).

Mailmeteor: common questions
How much does Mailmeteor cost?
Mailmeteor has a free Hobby plan, then Starter at $5.99, Premium at $17.99 and Professional at $35.99 per user a month before VAT, as of October 2026. Yearly billing offers three months free, but the page doesn't say which billing the listed prices reflect.
Is Mailmeteor free?
Yes, within limits. The Hobby plan needs no card and sends 50 emails a day and 500 a month to up to 5,000 contacts, with tracking, across 3 campaigns and one sender. Follow-ups, warm-up and the AI assistant start on Premium at $17.99 per user a month.
Is Mailmeteor trustworthy?
Mailmeteor is a real product from Mailmeteor SAS, a Paris company founded in 2018, with more than 7 million installs on the Google Workspace Marketplace. It says it is GDPR and CCPA compliant and lists SOC 2 as coming soon. Trustpilot shows 4.2 from 104 reviews as of October 2026, where most one-star reviews are about support, plus a few billing disputes.
Is Mailmeteor good for cold email?
For light outreach from a few mailboxes, yes: Professional adds rotation across up to 10 senders and reply sorting, on top of Premium's warm-up inbox. It isn't made for volume, though. Mailmeteor's quota doc says around 10,000 emails a day isn't what it was built for, and it sells no domains, inboxes or lead data.
Mailmeteor vs GMass: which is cheaper?
Mailmeteor is cheaper to start: a free plan, then $5.99 to $35.99 per user a month, against GMass at $29.95 to $59.95 a month per Google account with a 7-day trial and no free plan. Mailmeteor also sends from Outlook, Zoho and SMTP and includes a warm-up inbox from Premium; GMass is Gmail-only with no warmup.
