Lead Forensics pricing and review
Lead Forensics is a UK-based website visitor identification tool that shows which companies visit your site, sold on quoted contracts priced by your traffic.
Lead Forensics at a glance
Reachkit makes a competing cold email tool, though not a visitor identification tool. Lead Forensics publishes no prices, so dollar figures here are labelled third-party estimates; plans and terms were checked in October 2026 against its public pages, not an account.

Lead Forensics pricing
Lead Forensics pricing isn’t published; every customer gets a quote. The pricing page lists two plans, Essentials and Automate, each behind a “Book a demo” button, and says the cost “is based on how much traffic you’re generating to your website”.
After the demo comes a one-week free trial, which Lead Forensics says will “determine the cost for your business”. Published estimates, none from Lead Forensics:
| Source | Estimate | Dated |
|---|---|---|
| Vendr buyer data, cited by Factors.ai | Median $17,486 a year | Sep 2026 |
| Older Vendr guide, cited by Warmly | About $6,000 to $98,000; average about $35,000 | Dec 2025 |
| Leadfeeder, a competitor | Essentials $6,000 to $25,000; Automate $25,000 to $95,000 a year | Sep 2026 |
The low ends look like small-site quotes, not a floor.
Extras. Lead Forensics’ own comparison page says contact data and its managed chatbot, Lead Forensics Chat, cost extra, while the pricing page lists decision-maker contact data as a plan feature. The contract mentions a setup fee with no public amount, and paying by credit card adds 3%.
Contract terms. The public Master Service Agreement (version 8, December 2024) renews a contract automatically for a term as long as the first, unless you give at least 90 days’ written notice. Fees rise 10% at each 12-month anniversary and can be changed at renewal if traffic grows more than 20% over the trial’s daily average. Individual deals can override these terms.
What that adds up to: at the Vendr median, the 10% step makes year two $19,235 and year three $21,158, about $57,900 over three years before any traffic-based change.
What Lead Forensics does
Lead Forensics turns anonymous business traffic on your website into a list of named companies. A tracking code, which Lead Forensics likens to Google Analytics, matches each visit’s IP address against its own database of business IP addresses.
- Company level only. Its compliance FAQ says the data “does not identify an individual website visitor”, and sole traders are left out.
- What you see. Which companies visited, the pages they viewed, how often and when they return, with real-time alerts.
- Lead handling. A lead and pipeline manager with rules-based scoring and automated routing to reps, so it works without a CRM.
- Contacts. An option adds names, job titles, emails and phone numbers of decision-makers at those companies, from third-party suppliers. The FAQ says these “are not the individuals who visited”.
- Match rates. Its data page claims it “identifies up to 80% of B2B visits” and says results vary by industry, geography and network type.
It connects natively to Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Pipedrive and Zoho, plus Zapier, and an API reads visits and reports. It doesn’t send email.
Lead Forensics strengths and drawbacks
Strengths
- No seat math. Users are unlimited, and their number “doesn’t affect your price”.
- Hands-on service. The pricing page lists a dedicated customer success manager and a training academy, and customer service is the top Capterra subrating (4.7).
- Easy to pick up. One G2 reviewer calls it “easy to use and intuitive … It’s similar to a CRM”.
- Privacy-minded by design. Naming companies rather than people suits UK and EU buyers wary of person-level tracking.
Drawbacks
- Renewal terms. Same-length auto-renewal, 90 days’ notice and a yearly 10% increase are in the standard agreement, and they’re a recurring complaint in reviews.
- No public price. Lead Forensics’ own comparison page says bespoke pricing “can feel opaque”.
- Companies, not people. Finding the right person is a separate step, and the comparison page says contact data costs extra.
- Some contact-data gripes. G2 tags include “Outdated Contacts” (19 mentions) and “Incorrect Information” (17), small next to more than 1,100 reviews.
What Lead Forensics users say
Lead Forensics holds 4.6 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 993 reviews, 4.4 on G2 from more than 1,100 and 4.5 on Capterra from about 250, as of October 2026. Praise centers on support and guidance from account managers.
The Trustpilot ratings are split: 72% five stars and 17% one star, and the one-star reviews mostly concern renewals. A September 2026 reviewer described “an unexplainable 10% price increase and with no advice, warning or reminder”, and another wrote: “They have 90 day cancellation terms but instead of extra cost they feel they can renew you automatically for a full year.” Capterra’s lowest subrating is value for money, at 4.2.
Who Lead Forensics is for
Lead Forensics fits B2B companies with steady website traffic and a sales team that works new leads every day. Red Evolution, a UK agency that resells rival LeadInfo, wrote in 2026 that it’s “only worth the premium with a disciplined sales team working the signals daily and enough qualified traffic to feed it”.
Look elsewhere if your site gets little business traffic, you’d rather not commit to a fixed term, or you need to email those companies from the same tool. If you sign, put the renewal date in your calendar with 90 days to spare. For cold email, I’d use a visit to move an account up the list and still write the email around the prospect’s problem, since the contact you email isn’t the person who visited.
Alternatives to Lead Forensics
- ZoomInfo: website visitors come with its quote-based Copilot Advanced plan, and the free Lite tier includes up to 10 visitor reveals a day. See the ZoomInfo profile or ZoomInfo alternatives.
- Clearbit (now HubSpot): buyer intent flags visiting companies inside HubSpot, at 10 HubSpot Credits per tracked company a month. See the Clearbit profile.
- Pipedrive: a Web Visitors add-on for its CRM, from $41 on its pricing page, or $49 a month for up to 200 identified companies on the add-on page. See the Pipedrive profile.
- Instantly: a cold email sender whose credits also pay for visitor lookups, 3 per resolved profile. See the Instantly profile.
- Reachkit (our product): doesn’t identify visitors. Give it the companies Lead Forensics surfaced and its Lead Finder searches those exact companies by title and seniority, adds verified contacts at 1 credit each and emails them from warmed inboxes. Growth is $39 a month per workspace with 1,000 credits a month.
Lead Forensics: common questions
Is Lead Forensics legit?
Yes. Lead Forensics Limited is a UK company incorporated in 2010, registered in Portsmouth. It rates 4.6 on Trustpilot from 993 reviews and 4.4 on G2 from more than 1,100 as of October 2026. Complaints center on renewals. I found no public record of a court ruling or regulator action against it.
How much does Lead Forensics cost?
Lead Forensics doesn't publish prices; it quotes after a one-week trial that measures your traffic. Vendr buyer data, cited by Factors.ai in September 2026, puts the median contract at about $17,500 a year, and older estimates run from about $6,000 to $98,000. Its standard agreement adds 10% at each yearly anniversary.
Does Lead Forensics have a free trial or free plan?
There's no free plan. Lead Forensics offers a one-week free trial, started through a demo request rather than a self-serve signup, and you keep the companies it identifies that week. The traffic it measures also sets your price.
How do I cancel a Lead Forensics contract?
Lead Forensics' standard agreement asks for written notice at least 90 days before your term ends. Without it, the contract renews for another term as long as the first. Signed commercial terms can override this, so check your own contract.
Lead Forensics vs ZoomInfo: which is cheaper?
Both sell by quote. Vendr data puts ZoomInfo's median buyer at $33,500 a year and Lead Forensics' at about $17,500, though ZoomInfo's price covers its contact database, not only visitor data. Its visitor data sits on the Copilot Advanced plan, with up to 10 free reveals a day on ZoomInfo Lite.
