Clearbit pricing and review

Clearbit is a B2B data provider for company and contact enrichment. HubSpot bought it in 2023 and now sells its data only as part of HubSpot.

Clearbit at a glance

Reachkit makes a competing cold email tool with its own lead database. Every Clearbit price here was checked in October 2026 against HubSpot’s and Clearbit’s own pages; third-party figures are labelled.

Clearbit pricing

Clearbit pricing in 2026 is HubSpot pricing. Clearbit’s help center says it is “no longer offering new standalone Clearbit subscriptions”, and clearbit.com/pricing redirects to a homepage with no prices. Figures below are list prices from HubSpot’s product and services catalog.

Feature from ClearbitWhat it costs in HubSpot
Contact and company enrichmentIncluded with a paid seat, no credits
HubSpot Core Seat$20 Starter, $50 Professional, $75 Enterprise, per seat a month
Buyer intent: track one company10 HubSpot Credits a month
Custom signal on one company (beta)50 credits a month

Which plans get enrichment. HubSpot’s enrichment guide lists Starter and up for most hubs, and Professional and up for Smart CRM and Revenue Hub. It lists no free tier.

HubSpot Credits cost $0.01 each, or $10 for an extra pack of 1,000. Most hubs include 500 a month on Starter, 3,000 on Professional and 5,000 on Enterprise. Unused credits don’t roll over, and usage features pause when you run out unless you’ve added capacity.

What a typical setup costs: one person on HubSpot Starter pays $20 a month at list price for enriched records. Tracking 100 companies for intent adds 1,000 credits, 500 of them included, so about $25 a month. A limited-time new-customer offer cuts Starter to $7 a seat a month paid yearly, or $10 monthly. Professional hubs carry other fees not priced here.

About the “$45 a month” figure. Many guides still quote a Breeze Intelligence pack at $45 a month for 100 credits, HubSpot’s 2024 add-on. HubSpot’s knowledge base said those credits moved to HubSpot Credits in June 2025, and the current catalog doesn’t list Breeze Intelligence. One third-party guide says it confirmed the $45 price in September 2026, so ask HubSpot if you see it offered.

What Clearbit does

Clearbit adds company and contact details to records you already have, inside HubSpot, where the features are called data enrichment, buyer intent and form shortening.

  • Enrichment. Contacts are matched on first name, last name and work email, companies on their domain. Data comes from HubSpot, third-party providers and the public web. Automatic enrichment starts switched off.
  • What gets added. Clearbit’s HubSpot page promises 100+ data points, such as installed technologies, headcount, revenue and location. Clearbit’s homepage adds NAICS, GICS and SIC industry codes, corporate hierarchies, and normalized roles and seniority.
  • Buyer intent. IP intelligence identifies companies visiting your website, with filters for ICP fit, pricing-page visits and whether the company is already in HubSpot.
  • Form shortening. Forms hide fields that HubSpot can fill in on its own.

Clearbit doesn’t send email, and its email finder, the free Clearbit Connect sidebar, closed on April 30, 2025.

Clearbit strengths and drawbacks

Strengths

  • No extra cost for HubSpot customers. Enrichment uses no credits on paid plans. One Reddit user said it handles their enrichment “for basically zero marginal cost”.
  • Nothing to connect. It works directly on HubSpot records and forms.
  • Deep company data. Tech stack, headcount, revenue, three industry code systems and corporate hierarchies.
  • Cheap visitor tracking. Watching a company for intent costs 10 credits, about $0.10, a month.
  • Shorter forms that convert. In a HubSpot case study, Greenhouse reported 20% more completed forms.

Drawbacks

  • HubSpot only. New customers can’t buy Clearbit on its own, and new sign-ups have needed a HubSpot account since December 2023 (changelog).
  • Tools that are gone. The free platform, Weekly Visitor Report, Clearbit Connect, the TAM Calculator and the free Slack integration ended April 30, 2025 (announcement). The public Logo API followed on December 8, 2025.
  • Fills contact records rather than finding people. Contact matching starts from a work email you already hold.
  • A quiet product. Clearbit’s changelog has had only shutdown notices since its last release note in August 2024.

What Clearbit users say

Clearbit has 4.4 out of 5 from about 630 reviews on G2 as of October 2026. G2’s summary says reviewers praise its ease of use and data accuracy. Capterra shows 4.5 from 34 reviews, on a listing now titled HubSpot Agent Hub. Trustpilot has just two reviews. Many of these reviews predate the acquisition or the 2025 shutdowns.

Recent complaints center on lock-in. A Reddit thread titled “Clearbit enrichment used to be good- not after the acquisition” lists “Endpoints disappearing, prices going up, slower support”. In another thread, one user reports more stale data and says mobile numbers are “basically nonexistent”, while finding the HubSpot integration smoother.

Who Clearbit is for

Clearbit fits teams already paying for HubSpot who want fuller company records, shorter forms and a list of companies visiting their site. For them enrichment costs nothing extra.

Look elsewhere if your CRM is something else, if you need new email addresses or phone numbers for outbound, or if you want an enrichment API; two third-party guides report the standalone API is closed to new customers. For cold email, I’d use firmographics like these to pick target companies, then get verified contacts elsewhere.

Alternatives to Clearbit

  • ZoomInfo: company, contact and intent data on contracts quoted by sales; Vendr puts the median buyer at $33,500 a year. See the ZoomInfo profile.
  • Apollo: a contact database with sequences, a free plan and Basic at $49 per seat a month billed yearly. See the Apollo profile.
  • Clay: enrichment that pulls from many data providers in one table, free to start and $185 a month for Launch. See Apollo vs Clay.
  • Lusha: self-serve emails and phone numbers, with 40 free credits a month and Starter at $49.90 a month. See the Lusha profile.
  • Hunter: finds and verifies emails by company domain, with a free plan and Starter at $49 a month. See the Hunter profile.
  • Reachkit (our product): doesn’t enrich HubSpot records or identify site visitors, but its Lead Finder finds verified contacts at companies filtered by industry, size, revenue and technologies, at 1 credit each, and Reachkit sends the emails. Scale ($99/mo) pushes positive replies into HubSpot.

Clearbit: common questions

Is Clearbit legit?

Yes. Clearbit is a real B2B data company, founded in 2015, that HubSpot bought in late 2023 for $150 million, per HubSpot's SEC filings. It lives on as HubSpot's built-in data provider. New customers can't buy it on its own, only through a paid HubSpot plan.

How much does Clearbit cost?

Clearbit has no price of its own in October 2026. Its enrichment comes with paid HubSpot seats at no credit cost, from $20 a month for Starter at list price. Intent tracking costs 10 HubSpot Credits per company a month, about $0.10 once included credits run out. HubSpot's current catalog doesn't list the often-quoted $45 Breeze Intelligence pack.

Does Clearbit have a free plan?

Not anymore. Clearbit's free platform, its Weekly Visitor Report and the free Clearbit Connect sidebar all ended on April 30, 2025. Clearbit data now comes with a paid HubSpot plan, Starter or higher.

Can I still find email addresses with Clearbit Connect?

No. Clearbit Connect, the free Gmail and Chrome sidebar that looked up email addresses, was discontinued on April 30, 2025, along with Clearbit's other free tools. HubSpot's enrichment adds details to contacts you already have rather than finding new addresses.

What happened to the Clearbit Logo API?

The public Clearbit Logo API stopped working after December 8, 2025, and the logo field in Clearbit's Autocomplete API has returned nothing since September 9, 2025. Clearbit pointed users to Logo.dev for company logos instead.

Clearbit vs ZoomInfo: which is cheaper?

For a HubSpot customer, Clearbit usually is, because enrichment is included with a paid seat from $20 a month at list price. ZoomInfo sells by quote, and Vendr reports a median of $33,500 a year. ZoomInfo adds direct dials and works with other CRMs; for new customers, Clearbit works only inside HubSpot.
