Demandbase pricing and review

Demandbase is an account-based marketing platform that spots companies researching your topic, then reaches them with B2B ads, website personalization and sales data, on contracts priced by quote.

Demandbase at a glance

Reachkit makes a cold email tool, not an ABM platform, so it overlaps with Demandbase only where target accounts turn into emails. Every price here was checked on October 15, 2026 against Demandbase’s own pages; third-party figures are labelled.

Demandbase pricing

Demandbase, the ABM platform, doesn’t publish prices. Its pricing page asks you to fill out a form for a custom plan, built from a platform fee that “covers all the essential software and services” plus “a flat fee per user” at an unpublished rate. You can buy the full platform, Advertising as “a starting place”, or Data on its own.

Demandbase’s own AWS Marketplace listingDemandbase One at $215,000 for a 12-month contract, plus usage beyond the contract at $0.01 a unitOctober 2026
Vendr buyer dataMedian about $69,000 a year; range $24,000 to about $164,000Updated February 2026

Demandbase doesn’t say what configuration the AWS listing covers, so treat it as one data point, not an entry price. Vendr adds that annual contracts are standard, renewals often carry 3 to 5% yearly escalators, and onboarding, services and media can add 20 to 40% to first-year cost.

Credits. Since July 2026, eligible Demandbase AI features draw on a pool of AI Credits, and generating an email draft spends them; more come through your account team. The MCP server has its own balance, at 1 credit per record returned. Neither has a public price.

What a typical setup costs: a team paying Vendr’s median, plus Vendr’s 20 to 40% for onboarding, services and media, spends roughly $82,000 to $96,000 in year one, by our math.

What Demandbase does

Demandbase works at the level of companies, called accounts, rather than single leads. Its flagship, Demandbase One, is sold to marketing and sales as one product:

  1. Pick accounts and topics. An Onboarding Setup Agent suggests intent keywords and an account list from your website.
  2. Score them on intent and engagement, such as site visits, ad clicks and CRM activity.
  3. Act on the list. Run B2B display and connected TV ads through its own ad platform, sync audiences to LinkedIn ads, tailor your website per account, sync lists to Salesforce, Dynamics or HubSpot, and give reps views of accounts, buying groups and contacts.
  4. Measure their influence on pipeline.

Intent comes from “direct access to the bidstream” (the bid requests behind online ads) and AI that reads the pages people visit; Bombora, G2 or TrustRadius intent can be imported. The intent page counts 113M+ companies, and contacts as both 200M+ and 150M+ decision-makers.

Demandbase doesn’t send email: its Email Agent drafts a message you send yourself from Gmail or Outlook. It also has AI Chat and an MCP server, a standard way for AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT to use other apps.

Demandbase strengths and drawbacks

Strengths

  • Intent and the account view. G2’s review summary says users “consistently praise the complete account view and reliable intent signals that help prioritize outreach effectively” (G2).
  • One list for marketing, sales and ads. Intent, an owned ad platform, site personalization, sales views and two-way CRM sync share the same accounts.
  • Rated easier than 6sense on G2. In G2’s comparison, Demandbase scores higher on ease of use (8.5 vs 8.0), ease of setup (8.3 vs 7.6) and quality of support (8.8 vs 8.5).
  • Analyst recognition. Demandbase says it was named a Leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for ABM Platforms in 2025 and again in 2026, its sixth year running.

Drawbacks

  • Cost. Value for money is the lowest of Demandbase One’s Capterra sub-scores, at 3.6 out of 5. A G2 review on AWS Marketplace calls the price “a bit too expensive for what you actually get”.
  • A learning curve. “Learning Curve” and “Steep Learning Curve” are among G2’s most tagged cons, and a Capterra reviewer found setup “a bit tedious” without “a very big ops team”.
  • Data and scoring gaps. TrustRadius’s review summary says some users want more person-level data and more precise account targeting, and one G2 review title says “scoring can feel like a black box”.
  • Only one CRM can be connected, per Demandbase’s integration docs.

What Demandbase users say

Demandbase One holds 4.4 out of 5 on G2 from about 2,000 reviews, and 4.4 on Capterra from a small sample of 17 (both October 2026). TrustRadius shows 7.7 out of 10 from about 400 reviews. Demandbase has no Trustpilot reviews, and Gartner Peer Insights lists 319 reviews.

Users praise the intent signals, the account view and support, and complain about price, the effort it takes to get value, and gaps in person-level data.

Who Demandbase is for

Demandbase fits B2B companies where marketing and sales already plan around a named account list, with a CRM, an ad budget and someone to run the platform. One reviewer said it’s “paramount to have an established ABM program.”

Look elsewhere if you’re a founder, a small team or an agency running outbound for clients, or if you need emails sent rather than accounts scored. For cold email, I’d put that budget into a fresh, verified list and inboxes set up to land; the guide to lead scraping for cold email covers the list side.

Alternatives to Demandbase

  • ZoomInfo: contact data with intent, plus ABM plans with its own display network and LinkedIn and Facebook ads; quote-only, with a Vendr median of $33,500 a year. Read the ZoomInfo profile or ZoomInfo alternatives.
  • Clearbit by HubSpot: identifies companies visiting your website inside HubSpot, at 10 HubSpot Credits per tracked company a month. Read the Clearbit profile.
  • Cognism: contact data with Bombora intent on its Pro plan, priced by quote. Read the Cognism profile.
  • Apollo: a contact database with sequences built in, Bombora intent data, a free plan and seats from $49 a month billed yearly. Read the Apollo profile.
  • Reachkit (our product): doesn’t score intent or run ads. Once you know which accounts to reach, its Lead Finder searches people at specific companies, adds them with verified emails at 1 credit per lead and sends the campaign from warmed inboxes. Growth is $39 a month per workspace, with no seat fees; see pricing.
