Seismic pricing and review

Seismic is a sales enablement platform: marketing keeps sales content in one governed library, and reps tailor it, share it with buyers and see what they read. Prices are quote-only.

Seismic at a glance

Reachkit makes a cold email tool, a different job from Seismic’s, which doesn’t send cold email. Seismic’s claims were checked in October 2026 against seismic.com and its March 2026 services agreement; third-party figures are labeled.

Seismic pricing

Seismic pricing isn’t published. There’s no pricing page (seismic.com/pricing returns a 404), and the buying path on seismic.com is a demo, then a quote, as of October 2026. There’s no free plan or free trial.

How Seismic licenses it. Per user. Its public license matrix, on the Enablement Cloud Starter page dated September 2024, lists Standard licenses for go-to-market staff, Partner licenses for resellers and Intranet licenses for read-only internal users. Some Aura AI is included “subject to usage limits”, and LiveSocial is an add-on. It’s two years old, so ask what your quote includes.

What buyers report paying. These numbers come from Vendr, a software buying service, not from Seismic:

SourceDateFigure
VendrFeb 2026Median $31,950 a year; range $8,993 to $179,008 (415 purchases)
VendrFeb 2026Implementation $10,000 to $30,000 for 10 to 50 users; $30,000 to $75,000 for 50 to 200
VendrFeb 2026Add-ons such as Seismic Learning can raise contract value by 20% to 50% or more

The same Vendr page also quotes higher typical contract bands, so treat $32,000 as the middle of real deals, not a quote.

Contract terms. Under Seismic’s Main Services Agreement of March 2026, fees are invoiced annually in advance and non-refundable. Multi-year commitments are non-cancellable, and seats can be added mid-term but not reduced. The agreement sets no renewal terms, and usage limits sit in each order form, so get both in writing. After a contract ends, you have 30 days to export your content before deletion.

What Seismic does

Seismic is where a company’s sales content lives and how it gets to buyers. Marketing teams load decks, case studies and one-pagers into the Content Library and set who sees each item and when it expires. A Library Agent, announced in October 2026, flags outdated or conflicting messaging and proposes changes for approval.

Reps search the library and tailor what they find: LiveDocs fills templates with CRM data, and slides can be personalized inside PowerPoint. They share content as tracked LiveSend links or in Digital Sales Rooms, and Seismic reports which pages each buyer opened. Seismic Learning (formerly Lessonly) adds lessons and practice, and meeting tools produce briefs and transcripts.

Aura is the AI layer, with nine new and enhanced agents in June 2026 and a Deal Agent in October. Its fuller features have to be enabled on your account, and Seismic doesn’t publish what that costs.

Seismic doesn’t send cold email or run sequences. Content reaches buyers through Seismic Exchange apps for Outlook, Gmail, Outreach and Salesloft, and CRM apps cover Salesforce, Dynamics, HubSpot and Oracle. In August 2026 Seismic completed its merger with Highspot, which carries on as “Highspot by Seismic”, with both platforms supported.

Seismic strengths and drawbacks

Strengths

  • One governed home for content. G2 reviewers call the library a “single source of truth” (per Supered’s summary of G2, October 2026), and a Capterra reviewer praises expiry dates and content mapped to sales stages.
  • Engagement you can act on. A Gartner Peer Insights reviewer wrote that “you get an alert telling you exactly what pages they looked and how long they stayed at them.”
  • Well-rated support. Quality of Support scores 9.1 out of 10 on G2 (via Supered, October 2026).
  • Open to AI assistants. Its MCP server (a standard way for assistants like Claude and ChatGPT to use other apps) has published connectors for Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot.

Drawbacks

  • Finding things can take work. “Navigation Difficulty” and “Not Intuitive” top the cons in G2’s review summary.
  • A heavy rollout. A G2 reviewer called setup and content migration “time-intensive”, and Vendr puts implementation at $75,000 to $150,000 or more for 200+ users.
  • Price. A Gartner reviewer wrote in May 2026 that “The cost is much higher than competitors…”
  • Learning trails content. Critical reviews on G2 and Gartner single out Seismic Learn, one titled “Solid content platform, but the Learn/LMS side needs work.”
  • Little room to scale down. No seat reductions during a term, and multi-year commitments can’t be cancelled.

What Seismic users say

Seismic Enablement Cloud rates 4.6 out of 5 on G2 from about 1,800 reviews, 4.6 on Capterra from about 220, and 4.6 on Gartner Peer Insights, where 87% of reviewers would recommend it, as of October 2026. Trustpilot has no Seismic reviews, and the profile is unclaimed.

Praise centers on the content library, LiveSend tracking and support. Complaints come back to navigation and search, setup effort, price and the learning module. Adoption is the quieter question: one r/sales poster described “an old, dusty, unused instance of Seismic” they wanted their team using again.

Who Seismic is for

Seismic fits mid-size and enterprise companies where marketing produces lots of sales content and wants control over which version reps send, with an enablement team to run it and budget for a yearly commitment. Seismic says more than one-third of the Fortune 100 are customers.

Look elsewhere if you’re a small team sharing a dozen decks, need to pay month to month, or need first conversations more than follow-up material. Seismic sharpens what a rep sends once a buyer is engaged, but it doesn’t find prospects or send the first email. For that, I’d start with the list: in cold email it decides more than any deck.

Alternatives to Seismic

  • Highspot by Seismic: the former competitor, merged in August 2026 and still run as its own platform.
  • Showpad and Mindtickle: other enablement platforms often named as Seismic competitors.
  • Outreach: sequences, calling and forecasting for reps, quote-only per seat plus AI credits. Seismic content reaches it through an Exchange app. See the Outreach profile.
  • Salesloft: cadences, calls and Clari’s forecasting; trackers report $125 to $165 per user a month. See Outreach vs Salesloft.
  • Reachkit (our product): covers the first-touch email Seismic doesn’t send. Describe a campaign in one sentence and it drafts the sequence, finds verified leads among 500M+ profiles, and sets up separate domains with Google or Microsoft inboxes that warm up automatically. From $39 a month per workspace, no seat fees.

Seismic: common questions

How much does Seismic cost?

Seismic doesn't publish prices. You get a quote after a demo, priced per user and invoiced annually in advance. Vendr's buyer data from February 2026 puts the median contract at about $32,000 a year, with deals from about $9,000 to $179,000. Implementation and add-ons such as Seismic Learning cost extra. Checked October 2026.

Does Seismic have a free plan or free trial?

No. As of October 2026 Seismic offers neither a free plan nor a free trial, only demo videos, a product tour and an ROI calculator.

Is Seismic legit?

Yes. Seismic Software was founded in San Diego in 2010, has been backed by Permira funds since 2020, and reports 2,500 customers and 3.5 million users after its August 2026 merger with Highspot. It rates 4.6 out of 5 on both G2 and Capterra as of October 2026.

Who owns Seismic?

Permira funds led Seismic's 2020 funding round. In February 2026 Seismic said Permira would remain the controlling shareholder after the Highspot merger, which closed August 18, 2026. Rob Tarkoff has been CEO since October 2025.

Did Seismic merge with Highspot?

Yes. Seismic completed its merger with Highspot on August 18, 2026. The combined company operates as Seismic, and Highspot continues as Highspot by Seismic, with both platforms supported. No combined pricing has been published as of October 2026.

Who competes with Seismic?

Highspot was a direct competitor until the 2026 merger. Showpad, Mindtickle and Allego are other enablement platforms often named as rivals. For outbound rather than content, Outreach and Salesloft run sales sequences, and Reachkit, which is our product, sets up cold email inboxes and sends first-touch campaigns.

Seismic arms the follow-up. Who sends the first email?

Reachkit drafts a cold campaign from one sentence, finds verified leads, and sets up and warms separate inboxes to send it. Try it free for 30 days, no card needed.
