GoHighLevel pricing
GoHighLevel pricing starts at $97 a month for the Starter plan, and email, phone and AI usage are charged on top. Plan prices below are from gohighlevel.com/pricing, as of October 2026.
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $97 | $970 | 3 sub-accounts, all core features |
| Unlimited | $297 | $2,970 | Unlimited sub-accounts, usage rebilled at cost, basic API |
| Agency Pro | $497 | $4,970 | SaaS mode, automatic sub-account creation, rebilling with markup, advanced API |
Every plan includes unlimited contacts and users, and HighLevel says there are no long-term contracts. HighLevel’s own pages differ on one line: the pricing page puts user and agent reporting on Agency Pro, while the homepage lists it under Unlimited.
Usage. Per HighLevel’s pricing guide, email costs $0.675 per 1,000 on every plan, and the help center says incoming mail is charged as well, CC, BCC and forwards included. Email validation costs $2.50 per 1,000. Usage is paid from a prepaid Agency Wallet that tops itself up.
Add-ons. AI Employee is $50 (Growth) or $97 (Unlimited) a month per sub-account. A dedicated email IP is $59 a month on the two higher plans; the pricing page prices it per IP, the pricing guide per dedicated domain. Premium prospecting is $29 per sub-account and HIPAA $297 a month.
What a typical setup costs: an agency on Unlimited with 10 client sub-accounts, each sending about 10,000 opted-in emails a month, pays $297 plus $67.50 of email usage, so $364.50 a month before replies, SMS, calls and AI. Adding AI Employee Unlimited to all 10 clients adds $970.
What GoHighLevel does
GoHighLevel gives an agency one account per client, called a sub-account, and fills it with the tools a small business runs on: a CRM with pipelines, funnels and websites, workflows, calendars, email and SMS, calling, reviews, social posting, payments and courses. The company behind it, HighLevel LLC in Dallas, markets it as a platform agencies can white-label and resell.
Agencies set clients up with snapshots, which copy one sub-account’s setup into another, and with a library of pre-built industry accounts. On Agency Pro, SaaS mode sells subscriptions from your own website and creates each client’s account automatically.
Replies from every channel meet in Conversations, one timeline per sub-account for email, SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram. Email goes out by default through LC Email, HighLevel’s built-in sending service, on shared IPs unless you buy a dedicated one. There’s also an official MCP server (a standard way for AI assistants like Claude to use other apps) with 625 operations.
For cold outreach, HighLevel’s help center points to other tools, such as Instantly or Smartlead.
GoHighLevel strengths and drawbacks
Strengths
- A lot for one flat fee. CRM, funnels, calendars, SMS, reviews, payments and workflows, with unlimited contacts and users on every plan (pricing).
- Agency economics. $297 covers any number of client sub-accounts, and Agency Pro adds SaaS mode with usage resold at a markup.
- Cheap email to opted-in lists. $0.675 per 1,000. HighLevel’s May 2026 report claims a 97.37% delivery rate on dedicated domains, which measures accepted mail, not inbox placement.
- Open to build on. An API, webhooks, its own MCP server, native integrations from Instantly and Smartlead, and a marketplace that advertises 1,500+ apps.
Drawbacks
- A learning curve. It’s the most mentioned con in G2’s review summary.
- A bill that moves. Email (incoming too), phone and AI usage come out of the wallet, and add-ons are charged per sub-account, so costs rise with activity and client count. Starter also stops at 3 sub-accounts.
- Strict limits for cold email. HighLevel’s acceptable-use ceilings are 0.05% spam complaints and 5% hard bounces, and a 5% bounce rate triggers 12-hour sending blocks, the third of which HighLevel calls permanent (bounce rules). It has staged volume warmup but no warmup network; a request for one is “under review” on its feature board.
What GoHighLevel users say
GoHighLevel rates well with the agencies it’s built for. As of October 2026, Google’s results show 4.6 out of 5 on G2 from about 650 reviews, 4.9 on Trustpilot from more than 15,000 and 4.2 on Capterra from 89.
G2’s review summary says: “Users consistently praise HighLevel for its all-in-one capabilities…” On the other side, it counts about 140 mentions of the learning curve and 91 of missing features.
Cold email splits the community. One r/gohighlevel user wrote “GHL is not designed for cold emails, you can do it but at the cost of binning your IP”, while another thread reports a 5.4% sales conversion rate from cold email sent through it.
Who GoHighLevel is for
GoHighLevel suits agencies that sell small and local businesses a full marketing setup, each client in a branded account of its own. It also fits resellers and businesses emailing people who opted in through forms, bookings or purchases.
Look elsewhere if cold outreach to strangers is the main job, since HighLevel’s own guide sends that to dedicated tools. If your clients already live in GoHighLevel, I’d run cold email on separate domains in a separate tool and pass interested leads into each sub-account, the order that guide describes.
Alternatives to GoHighLevel

GoHighLevel: common questions
Is GoHighLevel legit?
Yes. GoHighLevel is run by HighLevel LLC, a subsidiary of GoHighLevel Inc. in Dallas, Texas, with public pricing and a 14-day trial. As of October 2026, Google's results show it at 4.6 out of 5 on G2 from about 650 reviews and 4.9 on Trustpilot from more than 15,000. The most common complaint in G2's review summary is the learning curve.
How much does GoHighLevel cost?
As of October 2026, GoHighLevel costs $97 a month for Starter (3 sub-accounts), $297 for Unlimited and $497 for Agency Pro, or $970, $2,970 and $4,970 a year. Email usage is $0.675 per 1,000 messages, incoming included, and validation $2.50 per 1,000. AI Employee and other add-ons are charged per sub-account.
Does GoHighLevel have a free plan?
No free plan appears on GoHighLevel's pricing page. Every plan has a 14-day free trial, and HighLevel says there are no long-term contracts. Usage such as email, SMS and AI is billed separately from a prepaid wallet, so a plan's monthly price is not the whole bill.
Can you send cold email from GoHighLevel?
It's possible but not what HighLevel recommends. Its terms require the consent applicable law demands, and its acceptable-use ceilings are 0.05% spam complaints and 5% hard bounces. Its sending guide suggests a separate sub-account and domain, names Instantly and Smartlead for cold outreach, and says to move leads into HighLevel once they engage.
GoHighLevel vs HubSpot: which is cheaper?
For agencies with many clients, usually GoHighLevel. Its $297 plan covers unlimited sub-accounts and users, while HubSpot's sales sequences need Sales Hub Professional at $90 to $100 a seat a month plus a $1,500 onboarding fee. GoHighLevel adds usage fees for email, phone and AI, so compare at your real volume. Prices checked October 2026.
