BombBomb pricing and review

BombBomb is a video messaging tool: you record short personal videos, send them by email, text or LinkedIn, and see who watched.

BombBomb at a glance

Reachkit makes a cold email tool, not a video tool, so the two only overlap when video is part of reaching new prospects. Every BombBomb price on this page was checked in October 2026 against BombBomb’s pricing page, help center and end-user agreement.

BombBomb pricing

BombBomb pricing starts at $36 per user a month for Core on annual billing, or $42 on monthly billing. The pricing page shows two unlabeled sets of prices, each “per user, per month”, under a billing toggle headed “Save with Annual Billing”; the lower set matches the annual side. Prices as of October 2026.

PlanBilled annuallyBilled monthlyWhat it adds
Core$36$42“Unlimited video messages”, mobile apps, browser extensions, Gmail and Outlook, viewer analytics
Core + Copilot$56$70AI tools, scripts, team assignments, backup videos
EnterpriseCustomCustomSSO, role-based access, API access, a white-labeled player

One plan level per team. Everyone in a team account shares the same plan, so a team that wants Copilot pays the Copilot price on every seat. The AI creation tools (speaker notes, summaries, titles, noise reduction) start at Core + Copilot.

What a typical setup costs: one person on Core pays $432 a year on annual billing or $504 on monthly. On annual billing, five on Core pay $2,160 a year and ten on Core + Copilot $6,720. The mailbox you send from is extra.

Older prices you’ll see elsewhere. Essentials ($39 a month or $396 a year) and Plus ($69 or $588) are the Classic plans in BombBomb’s billing FAQ, still supported for existing customers. Sites quoting $33 or $49 a month have divided those yearly prices by twelve.

Renewal and refunds. Plans renew automatically. The end-user agreement asks for 30 days’ notice to stop a monthly renewal and 60 days for an annual one. The billing FAQ says annual customers are emailed 90, 45 and 31 days ahead, so act on the first reminder. It rules out refunds and prorated refunds, and downgrades wait until the term ends. It also says videos and data are deleted on cancellation, while the agreement allows up to 60 days of retention, so download what you need first.

What BombBomb does

BombBomb Engage, the current product since May 2025, puts a short personal video in front of someone. You record or upload in the web app, the Chrome or Edge extension (which works inside Gmail and LinkedIn), the Outlook add-in or the phone apps. The email shows a thumbnail, the video plays on a branded BombBomb page with a call-to-action button, and you see views, watch time and clicks.

Through the extension or the Outlook add-in, email goes out from your own mailbox. Engage can also send through your own Outlook account from inside BombBomb, with Gmail listed as coming soon. BombBomb sells no inboxes or domains and has no warmup or contact database.

Copilot is the team layer. Managers build campaigns around moments like cold outreach or renewals and assign video tasks to reps with scripts and deadlines. If a rep doesn’t record, BombBomb sends a pre-loaded backup video. Copilot runs on its own or plugs into Outreach and Dynamics sequences, and videos can also send through HubSpot.

Other integrations include Total Expert, Zendesk and Follow Up Boss. The pricing page lists API access under Enterprise, while BombBomb’s API help article names all three plans.

BombBomb strengths and drawbacks

Strengths

  • Video from wherever you are. Record at a desk, in the browser or on a phone. A Capterra reviewer said the animated preview in the email makes the videos “very clickable.”
  • A well-rated phone app. The iOS app holds 4.8 from about 15,000 ratings and was rebuilt in October 2026.
  • Help getting a team to record. Copilot gives reps assignments, scripts and deadlines, and sends a backup video when someone doesn’t record.
  • Security for regulated buyers. SOC 2 Type II video hosting on every plan, video passwords and expiry dates, and SSO on Enterprise.

Drawbacks

  • Every seat pays, at one level. Pricing is per user and a team can’t mix plans. A G2 reviewer called the price “relatively steep”, while adding it was “worth the extra spend.”
  • Strict renewal terms. No refunds and 60 days’ notice for annual plans. A Software Advice review describes an auto-renewal BombBomb wouldn’t refund.
  • Not a cold email sender. No extra inboxes, domains, warmup or lead data.

What BombBomb users say

BombBomb rates 4.7 out of 5 on G2 from about 585 reviews and 4.4 on Capterra from 131, as of October 2026. G2 reviewers score its support 9.3 out of 10, though G2’s summary says response times could be faster. People like recording and sending without leaving Gmail.

Recurring complaints are price, auto-renewals under the no-refund terms, and app or upload glitches, though many Capterra reviews date from 2018 and 2019 and describe the Classic product. Trustpilot has a single review, too few to mean anything.

Who BombBomb is for

BombBomb fits people whose deals run on trust and repeat contact: real estate agents and loan officers following up with new leads, mortgage and auto teams, and B2B reps who want their face in front of a buyer after a call.

Look elsewhere if you need a free plan, mixed plan levels in one team, or a way to email thousands of new people a month. For first-touch outreach, I’d keep the volume on separate domains with warmed inboxes rather than your main mailbox, and BombBomb leaves that setup to you.

Alternatives to BombBomb

  • Other video messaging tools: Vidyard, Loom, Sendspark, Dubb and Hippo Video come up in the same searches.
  • Outreach: BombBomb’s Copilot plugs into its sequences. Outreach is quote-only, per seat plus AI credits. See the Outreach profile.
  • HubSpot Sales Hub: sequences and a CRM in one, and BombBomb videos can send through it. Professional is $90 per seat a month billed annually, plus $1,500 onboarding. See Reachkit vs HubSpot.
  • Mixmax: follow-up sequences inside Gmail, from $29 per user a month billed yearly, with a free plan. See the Mixmax profile.
  • Reachkit (our product): for reaching people who don’t know you yet. It registers separate domains ($15 a year), sets up Google or Microsoft inboxes ($5 a month) that start warming automatically, and finds verified leads, from $39 a month per workspace with no seat fees. It doesn’t record or host video.

BombBomb: common questions

How much does BombBomb cost?

BombBomb's Core plan costs $36 per user a month billed annually or $42 billed monthly, and Core + Copilot costs $56 or $70. Enterprise is priced by quote. Prices checked October 2026.

Does BombBomb have a free plan or free trial?

BombBomb has no free plan. It offers a 14-day free trial, and its trial pages say you won't be charged if you cancel before the 14 days are up. They don't say whether a card is needed.

Is BombBomb legit?

Yes. BombBomb, Inc. is a Colorado Springs company founded in 2006 that says it serves about 45,000 users in 43 countries. As of October 2026 it rates 4.7 on G2 from about 585 reviews, and its iOS app 4.8 from about 15,000 ratings. The most common complaints are price and its renewal and refund terms.

How does BombBomb work?

You record a short video with your webcam, screen or phone and send it from Gmail, Outlook, LinkedIn or BombBomb's apps. The recipient clicks a thumbnail to watch it on a branded BombBomb page with a call-to-action button, and BombBomb shows you who watched, for how long and what they clicked.

Can you use BombBomb for cold email?

BombBomb can add video to outreach, and Copilot campaigns can be built for cold outreach, but it provides no extra inboxes, domains, warmup or lead lists. Emailing many new people needs a cold email platform next to it, such as Reachkit, which sets up separate domains and warmed inboxes.

Using video to reach new prospects?

Reachkit registers separate domains, sets up and warms the inboxes, and finds verified leads, so first-touch email stays off your main mailbox. Start a 30-day free trial, no card needed.
