Lindy pricing

Lindy pricing starts at $29.99 or $49.99 per user a month, depending on which version of lindy.ai/pricing you see. On October 15, 2026 the page served both: 3,000 credits for $29.99 and 5,000 credits for $49.99. Billing is monthly only.

Credits per user a monthPricePer 1,000 credits
3,000 to 8,000$29.99 to $79.99$10.00
15,000 or 20,000$99.99 or $149.99$6.67 or $7.50
35,000 or 45,000$199.99 or $299.99$5.71 or $6.67

Lindy’s docs name the plans Plus, Pro and Max; the public page shows them as credit tiers on one Team card. Third-party guides match Plus to $29.99, Pro to $99.99 and Max to $199.99. Lindy describes a credit as about a cent. Top-ups cost $10 per 1,000 and don’t expire, while monthly credits don’t roll over. When credits run out, tasks pause rather than adding a bill, though Lindy’s terms allow optional overages “where available”.

The seat rule matters most. Lindy bills every active user, and its billing docs say anyone who @mentions it in Slack takes a seat. A team of five on the entry tier pays $149.95 or $249.95 a month. One heavy user is better off on the $99.99 tier once they need more than about 10,000 credits a month.

The Team card lists computer use and live onboarding, but the docs keep both for Pro and up, as the page’s feature list does for computer use. Enterprise is priced on request and adds SSO, audit logs and a signed HIPAA agreement.

What Lindy does

Lindy is an AI assistant you add to Slack. The team shares one Lindy in channels, and each person gets a private Lindy in direct messages that reads only their own email, calendar and meetings. It writes a daily brief, preps and records meetings and flags urgent email. It’s also reachable by iMessage, SMS, email and a Chrome extension.

The shared Lindy answers from approved team sources, builds reports, updates the CRM and runs scheduled routines.

For sales, Lindy’s SDR role page shows it scoring and routing inbound HubSpot leads, building enriched lookalike lists and writing openers from each prospect’s website. That example then uploads the leads to Smartlead. Lindy sits upstream of the sender: the page describes no inboxes, warmup or sending limits, and its lookalike list doesn’t say where the contacts come from.

Lindy strengths and drawbacks

Strengths

  • Low effort to start. No code, and the $50 trial needs no card. Ease of use is the most tagged plus in G2 reviews (via third-party summaries).
  • Works where the team already talks. Slack channels and DMs, email, meetings, texts and the browser.
  • Guardrails. Named approvers before external actions, per-person credit caps, and a pause instead of an overage bill (usage docs).
  • Security paperwork. Lindy states SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, HIPAA and PIPEDA compliance, with SSO and SCIM on Enterprise.
  • Wide reach. Over 1,000 integrations by Lindy’s own counts, plus any hosted MCP server, the standard way AI tools connect to apps.

Drawbacks

  • Hard to predict costs. Lindy prices tasks as ranges (2 to 2,500 credits), and long threads cost more because each message re-reads the thread above it.
  • Seats grow on their own. One Slack @mention makes a teammate a billed seat.
  • Slack first. The team experience depends on Slack; Microsoft Teams is listed as coming soon.
  • No public API documented in Lindy’s docs, and no refunds under its terms.
  • Frequent change. Lindy went from a no-code agent builder to an iMessage assistant to a Slack teammate in about 18 months, repricing each time (per third-party reviews).

What Lindy users say

Ratings split sharply by platform. G2 shows 4.9 from 171 reviews, according to a third-party check in September 2026 (G2 blocked our own check). Capterra reportedly has only 2 reviews, averaging 3.5.

Trustpilot shows 1.7 from about 40 reviews as of October 2026, mostly one-star, though the newest is about a coffee shop rather than Lindy. The recurring themes there are credits used up fast (“I managed to kill my months credits (3000) in one day!”, August 2026), trial-to-paid charges and trouble cancelling. Lindy replies to some, pointing to the cancel option in settings and to support.

Who Lindy is for

Lindy fits a team that already lives in Slack and wants one assistant for meetings, inbox triage, CRM updates and research, with a person approving anything that leaves the company.

Look elsewhere if you want a tool that sends cold email itself, or if many people would touch it lightly, since each one becomes a seat. From the cold email side, I’d use an assistant like this for list research and lead scoring and leave inboxes and volume to a dedicated sender. That’s where I think AI earns its place in outbound.

Alternatives to Lindy

  • Artisan: Ava, an AI SDR that runs outbound campaigns and handles replies itself, with self-serve plans from $280 a month ($250 billed yearly). See Reachkit vs Artisan.
  • Clay: table-based enrichment with AI research per row, free to start and $185 a month for Launch. See the Clay profile.
  • Apollo: a contact database with sequences built in, free to start and $65 per seat monthly. See the Apollo profile.
  • Smartlead: the sender Lindy’s own SDR example hands leads to, from $39 a month with no per-mailbox fee. See the Smartlead profile.
  • Reachkit (our product): the sender this assistant hands leads to: your own inboxes connect free, or we set up new ones that start warmup automatically, with per-inbox daily limits and no seat fees. It doesn’t prep meetings or triage your inbox.

Lindy: common questions

How much does Lindy AI cost?

Lindy's entry price is $29.99 or $49.99 per user a month; its pricing page showed both versions in October 2026. Higher tiers run to $299.99 per user for 45,000 credits. Every active user is billed, extra credits cost $10 per 1,000, and Enterprise is priced on request.

Is Lindy AI free to use?

Not beyond a trial. Lindy has no free plan. New users get $50 of credits that last 7 days, with no credit card needed. Lindy's terms say trial seats may convert to paid seats unless the user is removed before the trial ends, so check your seats before day seven.

Is Lindy AI legit?

Yes. Lindy is run by Crivello Corp, doing business as Lindy, with founder and CEO Flo Crivello, and it states SOC 2 Type II, GDPR and HIPAA compliance. Reviews are mixed: G2 reviews are very positive, while Trustpilot reviews in 2026 are mostly one-star, focused on credit use and billing.

Is Lindy AI worth it?

It depends on how many people use it. A Slack team with a few heavy users who want help with meetings, email triage and CRM updates gets the most from the per-user tiers. If many people would use it only now and then, billing every active user as a seat adds up fast.

Can Lindy send cold email?

Lindy drafts and replies to email from your own inbox, and its SDR role builds lead lists and writes openers. Its own example then uploads those leads to Smartlead for sending. Lindy's pages describe no warmup, sending limits or inbox management, so cold email at volume still needs a dedicated sending tool.

Lindy vs Artisan: what's the difference?

Lindy is a general AI assistant for a whole team, priced per user from $29.99 or $49.99 a month, with outbound as one of many roles. Artisan's Ava is an AI SDR built for outbound that sends campaigns and handles replies itself, with self-serve plans from $280 a month. Prices checked October 2026.

Need something to send the emails it writes?

Reachkit sends from your inboxes, sources verified leads from 500M+ profiles, and imports openers written elsewhere as merge tags. Try it free for 30 days, no card.
