Common Room at a glance

Reachkit makes a cold email tool, not a buyer intelligence platform. Common Room’s prices were checked on October 16, 2026 at commonroom.io, and third-party figures are labelled.

Common Room pricing

Common Room pricing starts at $2,500 a month for Essential, billed annually, or $30,000 a year at list. Advanced and Enterprise are custom quotes. The tiers differ mainly in scale, per commonroom.io/pricing, checked October 16, 2026.

The page doesn’t say whether credits are monthly or yearly. Alerts, workflows and segments are unlimited on every tier.

Extras with no public price: more Prospector credits, DataAgent actions and, on some tiers, product-usage signals. Each tier also lists an implementation package without a price; Vendr estimates onboarding at $5,000 to $20,000 or more.

What buyers report paying. Vendr showed a median of $27,250 a year across 76 purchases, ranging from $10,000 to $85,800, when checked in October 2026. Its figures have shifted under an unchanged “last updated” date, so treat them as a snapshot.

Older prices in search results. Spring 2026 write-ups quoted a smaller entry plan at $1,700 a month with 2 seats. The Zoom tab on the pricing page lists Zoom Revenue Accelerator, a separate product.

A typical setup: five people on Essential cost $30,000 a year before implementation. Common Room doesn’t send email, so the tool that does is a second bill.

What Common Room does

Common Room collects signs that a person or company may be ready to buy and ties them to one profile. Sources include your CRM, product usage, website visits, community and GitHub activity, Bombora intent topics and job changes. Person360, its identity engine, matches each action to a person and an account.

Teams act through alerts, segments and workflows in the app, Slack or a Chrome extension. RoomieAI, its set of AI agents, researches accounts and drafts outbound messages. Prospector adds new contacts from a directory Common Room says is sourced from LinkedIn and enhanced with other sources; the homepage claims 400M+ contacts, while the Prospector doc says 400M-plus in one place and 200M+ in another.

Common Room doesn’t send. It pushes contacts and AI drafts into Outreach or Apollo sequences, Salesloft cadences, or HubSpot workflows. Its MCP server, a standard way for AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT to use other apps, can read data, create contacts and segments, and update contacts.

Zoom bought the company for $266.8 million in cash, closing on July 17, 2026, per Zoom’s quarterly filing. It still sells under its own name.

Common Room strengths and drawbacks

Strengths

  • Many signals, one person. G2’s review summary says users consistently praise its ease of use and how it pulls data from many sources into one place (G2).
  • Developer roots. It began as community analytics, and its customer logos lean toward developer companies such as Vercel, GitLab and MongoDB.
  • Support. On G2’s comparison with 6sense, it rates 9.3 for quality of support against 8.6.
  • Open to AI assistants. The MCP server, with write access, is included on all plans.

Drawbacks

  • Steep for small teams. G2 reviewers call the pricing tiers steep for smaller teams.
  • A learning curve. “Learning Difficulty” and “Learning Curve” are tagged G2 cons; one reviewer said implementation “took about 6 months”.
  • CRM sync. Several G2 reviewers describe HubSpot sync problems, and one said their CRM “doesn’t map to their database”.
  • It doesn’t send. Emailing the people it surfaces takes a separate tool.

What Common Room users say

Common Room has 4.5 out of 5 on G2 from 100+ reviews as of October 2026, almost all four or five stars, and TrustRadius shows 7.3 out of 10 from 8. Both were read from search listings because those sites block direct visits. Trustpilot has an unclaimed profile with no reviews.

Reviewers credit the interface, signal aggregation and support; one wrote that the customer service “is probably the best I’ve ever worked with.” Complaints repeat around price, setup effort, CRM syncing and gaps in contact data, which G2’s summary says can need a second data provider. In a 2025 Reddit thread, a user who wanted only community analytics called it “veryyy expensive (1K USD/month!)”, when the price was lower than today’s.

Who Common Room is for

Common Room fits B2B companies whose buyers leave a trail in several places: a free product tier, GitHub, community channels and the website. It suits a team of five or more that already sends through Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo or HubSpot and can sign a yearly contract.

Founders and small teams who need monthly billing, a trial before a sales call, or one tool that also sends should look elsewhere. With any signal data, I’d use it to pick who gets an email and what it says: a job change earns one relevant message, not a long sequence.

Alternatives to Common Room

  • 6sense: account intent and predictive buying-stage scores, plus ABM ads, quoted through sales; Vendr’s median is about $62,000 a year. See the 6sense profile.
  • RB2B: names US website visitors with LinkedIn profiles from $79 a month, if site traffic is your main signal. See the RB2B profile.
  • Clay: lists built from many data providers, with signals and its own Sequencer from the $185 Launch plan. See the Clay profile.
  • Apollo: a contact database with sequences, a free plan and seats from $49 a month billed yearly. See the Apollo profile.
  • Reachkit (our product): the sending step Common Room hands off. Find verified people at the accounts it flags in Lead Finder (1 credit per lead), or import a CSV with signal columns as merge tags, then send from inboxes Reachkit can set up and warm. No direct Common Room connection. $39 a month per workspace, unlimited teammates; see pricing.
