Duplicating and Re-running Campaigns

Campaigns

Found a campaign that works? You can duplicate it to reuse the setup, or re-run it against the same leads a few months later. This guide covers both.

Duplicating a Campaign

Duplicating copies a campaign’s settings, schedule, sequences, variants, and inbox assignments into a brand-new draft. The copy always starts as a draft so you can tweak the copy before launching.

To duplicate:

  1. Go to Campaigns.
  2. Select a single campaign using the checkbox.
  3. Click Duplicate in the toolbar.
  4. Confirm in the dialog.

By default the new campaign starts with no leads, so you can point the proven setup at a fresh list.

Re-running a Completed Campaign

When a campaign is completed, the duplicate dialog offers an extra option: Also re-engage the existing leads. This is built for re-running a list you have already worked, for example reaching out to the same audience again a few months later.

When you turn it on, the new campaign starts empty and fills up in the background:

  1. We take the leads from the original, skipping anyone who bounced or unsubscribed. Those are never re-mailed.
  2. We re-verify each remaining address and add only the valid ones to the new campaign, so you only ever send to addresses that can still receive mail.
  3. Catch-all and inconclusive addresses that did not bounce last time are kept and added too. Only addresses that come back clearly invalid are left out.

Because we verify first and add second, you will not see leads that are about to be dropped, the list simply grows as verified leads come in.

The dialog shows how many leads are eligible and the maximum cost before you confirm. Verification costs 1 credit per 10 leads, and you are charged once for every lead we check.

This runs in the background because it can take a while for large lists. You will see a progress card at the top of the campaign’s leads, and we will email you when it finishes.

This option only appears for completed campaigns. For drafts or campaigns that are still sending, duplicate copies the setup only.
