NeverBounce pricing

NeverBounce pricing starts at $8 for 1,000 verifications, and one credit checks one address. Both self-serve models are on neverbounce.com/pricing, checked October 2026.

Pay as you go sells one-time credit packs that expire 12 months after purchase:

CreditsPricePer 1,000
1,000 or 5,000$8 or $40$8
10,000 to 50,000$50 to $250$5
100,000$400$4
250,000 or 500,000$750 or $1,500$3
1,000,000$2,500$2.50
2,000,000$4,000$2

Growth is a monthly subscription: $49 for up to 10,000 verifications, then $99 (50,000), $159 (100,000), $249 (250,000), $499 (500,000) and $999 (1,000,000). It adds automatic CRM syncing that charges only new, unique emails, AI scoring, and “200 new leads/month picked by AI”. No yearly price is shown. If you run out with auto-upgrade on, NeverBounce moves you to the next size and charges right away (Growth help).

Enterprise is custom, aimed at 250,000+ emails a month.

What a typical setup costs: a founder checking about 1,500 new prospects a month can buy 10,000 credits for $50, which lasts about seven months (roughly $7.50 a month). A team checking 10,000 a month pays $49 on Growth, or about $40 a month with a $400 pack of 100,000 used within a year.

What NeverBounce does

NeverBounce checks whether an email address can receive mail, without sending to it. Clean handles uploaded lists, Verify does single checks through the dashboard, API or a signup-form widget, and Sync, now part of Growth, re-checks connected CRM and email lists daily, weekly or monthly.

A free bounce analysis tells you whether a list needs cleaning before you pay for it. Each address then gets one of five results: valid, invalid, disposable, accept-all or unknown. NeverBounce says to send to valid ones, drop invalid and disposable ones, and treat the last two with caution (result codes).

Accept-all, also called catch-all, is a server that accepts every address, so a check can’t tell real from fake. NeverBounce says there is “no definitive way” to settle these and suggests small, monitored batches. Unknown means the server didn’t answer in time.

NeverBounce has run since 2014 and has belonged to ZoomInfo since 2018. It connects to HubSpot, Mailchimp, Zapier, Make and n8n, among others.

NeverBounce strengths and drawbacks

Strengths

  • Cheap to start. $8 buys 1,000 checks with no subscription, and the per-check price falls to $0.002 at 2 million (pricing).
  • A written guarantee. If more than 3% of your valid results bounce, NeverBounce refunds the difference. The list needs 500+ unique addresses sent within 72 hours, and free webmail addresses like Gmail are excluded (guarantee).
  • Fits into workflows. Sync charges only new emails, and there is an official n8n node.
  • Mid-pack in Hunter’s test. In a benchmark run by Hunter, which sells a verifier, NeverBounce scored 63.17% on 3,000 business addresses (November 2025), sixth of 15, ahead of ZeroBounce (60.70%) and behind Hunter (70.00%) (benchmark).

Drawbacks

  • Hard B2B domains come back unresolved. In a test run by ZeroBounce (July 2026) on a list it calls deliberately adversarial, half of NeverBounce’s results were unknown. In one run by Anymail Finder (August 2026), on addresses a normal check can’t settle, NeverBounce gave a verdict on 4.4%. Both vendors sell competing verifiers.
  • No published exemption for unknowns. The billing help says “1 Credit = 1 Email Verification” and lists no exemption for unknown or accept-all results.
  • Credits expire 12 months after purchase, with no refunds.
  • Connected CRM data can be reused. When you connect an app, the terms say NeverBounce “may use this information for its own purposes, including supplementing NeverBounce’s or its affiliates’ databases”. Unless you opt out in your privacy settings, you grant “an irrevocable license to … sell, transfer, assign, sublicense, disclose, or make available the Contact Data … to any third party”. After an opt-out, “NeverBounce will continue to use Contact Data that was contributed prior to your opt out” (terms). The terms say lists you upload stay yours.

What NeverBounce users say

NeverBounce shows 4.1 out of 5 on G2 from 145 reviews, per Google in October 2026. Capterra shows 4.4 from 51 reviews in one Google result and 4.3 from 39 in another. Trustpilot is small and low at 1.9 from 32 reviews, and NeverBounce doesn’t ask customers for reviews there.

Speed and ease of use come up most as praise. A Reddit user comparing verifiers over three years called it “Very fast, especially for small lists. Good API reliability”, but saw “occasional inconsistencies with catch-all domains” (thread).

The complaints repeat too: too many unknown results (G2), reminders about expiring credits (Trustpilot), and price (“The only downside is the high price” on Capterra).

Who NeverBounce is for

NeverBounce fits people who clean a list now and then and want to pay per list, not per month. It also suits teams whose CRM gains new contacts weekly, since Growth re-checks them automatically.

Look elsewhere if your lists are mostly companies behind catch-all servers or security gateways, or if you check so rarely that credits would expire unused.

My practitioner note: on a cold B2B list, watch the accept-all and unknown share, not the valid share. Run the free analysis on a real list from your market before you buy.

Alternatives to NeverBounce

  • ZeroBounce: a verifier with warmup and placement tests on the side. Packs start at $39 for 2,000, business-domain signups get 100 free checks a month, and unknown results cost nothing.
  • Hunter: an email finder and verifier with a sender built in. A free plan gives 50 credits a month, a verification costs half a credit, and unknown results are free. See the Hunter profile.
  • Snov.io: finder, verifier and sender in one, from $39 a month with 1,000 credits; unknown results are free. See Reachkit vs Snov.io.
  • Apollo: a contact database charging credits only for verified emails, if you also need leads. See the Apollo profile.
  • Reachkit (our product): a cold email platform, not a standalone verifier. It checks CSV imports at 1 credit per 10 addresses, holds catch-all and unverifiable ones for your decision, and pauses campaigns at 5% bounces, but won’t re-check your CRM.

NeverBounce: common questions

Is NeverBounce legit?

Yes. NeverBounce has verified email lists since 2014 and has been owned by ZoomInfo since 2018. It holds 4.1 out of 5 on G2 from 145 reviews as of October 2026. Its Trustpilot page is small and negative, at 1.9 from 32 reviews.

How much does NeverBounce cost?

As of October 2026, pay-as-you-go credits cost $8 for 1,000, $50 for 10,000 and $400 for 100,000, down to $4,000 for 2 million, and they expire after 12 months. The Growth subscription costs $49 a month for up to 10,000 verifications, rising to $999 for up to 1 million. Enterprise pricing is custom.

Does NeverBounce have a free plan?

No. New accounts get 10 free credits once, plus a free bounce analysis that says whether a list needs cleaning before you pay, and a free single-address checker. After that, credits start at $8 per 1,000 and Growth at $49 a month.

Do NeverBounce credits expire?

Yes. Pay-as-you-go credits are valid for 12 months after purchase, with no refunds for unused credits. Growth credits replenish on each billing date; the help article doesn't say whether unused ones roll over.

Which is better, ZeroBounce or NeverBounce?

NeverBounce is cheaper per check: $50 for 10,000 against $129 at ZeroBounce, as of October 2026. ZeroBounce gives business-domain signups 100 free checks a month and doesn't charge for unknown results. Hunter's benchmark put NeverBounce slightly ahead on accuracy; ZeroBounce's own put itself far ahead on a deliberately hard test list. Competing vendors ran both tests.

Cleaning a list so you can cold email it?

The 30-day trial needs no card and includes 100 credits, enough to verify 1,000 addresses. Import a real list from your market and see how many come back catch-all or unverifiable.
