Quick Start Guide: Setting up Reachkit in 10 minutes

Getting Started

This guide will walk you through the essential steps to get started with Reachkit, from connecting your first email account to launching your initial campaign.

Step 1: Connect Your First Email Account

  1. After logging in, you’ll land on the Inboxes page
  2. Click the Add Inbox button
  3. Follow the prompts to connect your email account
  4. Once connected, you’ll be returned to the Inboxes dashboard
  5. Click on your newly added inbox to configure settings if needed (the defaults work well for most users)

Step 2: Enable Email Warmup

Email warmup is crucial for deliverability success with cold outreach:

  1. From your inbox settings page, locate the warmup toggle
  2. Enable warmup for your inbox
  3. Your inbox will now begin the warming process automatically

Important: We recommend warming your email account for at least 3 weeks before sending cold emails to achieve optimal deliverability rates.

Step 3: Create Your First Campaign

While your inbox is warming, you can prepare your first campaign:

  1. Click Campaigns in the sidebar
  2. Click Add Campaign
  3. Enter a name for your campaign
  4. You’ll be directed to the campaign analytics page (which will be empty until the campaign runs)

Step 4: Add Your Leads

  1. Navigate to the Leads tab in your campaign
  2. You can either:
    • Upload a CSV file with your lead list
    • Manually add leads one by one
  3. Ensure your lead data includes all the information you want to personalize in your messages

Step 5: Create Your Email Sequence

  1. Go to the Sequences tab
  2. Create your email messages using:
    • Lead variables for personalization (e.g., {{first_name}})
    • A/B variants to test different approaches
  3. Set up follow-up emails with appropriate delays between messages

Step 6: Configure Your Campaign Schedule

  1. Navigate to the Schedule tab
  2. Set your sending times (default is weekdays 9AM-5PM Central Time)
  3. Adjust if needed to match your target audience’s time zone

Step 7: Set Campaign Options

  1. Go to the Options tab
  2. Select which inbox(es) to use for this campaign
  3. Configure any additional settings as needed

Step 8: Launch Your Campaign

Once your inbox has been properly warmed (minimum 3 weeks recommended):

  1. Return to the campaign overview
  2. Click the Launch Campaign button
  3. Your campaign will begin sending according to your defined schedule

Step 9: Monitor and Respond

  1. As replies come in, they’ll appear in UniBox
  2. Click on UniBox in the sidebar to view and respond to all conversations
  3. Each reply will be sent with the appropriate inbox automatically

Step 10: Track Performance

  1. Visit the Analytics tab in your campaign
  2. Monitor key metrics like reply rates and A/B test performance
  3. Make adjustments to your sequences based on performance data
