This guide covers connecting your Microsoft email account to Reachkit.

Enabling SMTP/IMAP

  1. Log in to Microsoft Admin Center
  2. Navigate to Active Users
  3. Select the user
  4. On the side window, click on Mail tab and select Manage email apps
  5. Check IMAP and Authenticated SMTP
  6. Click Save changes
  7. Wait for an hour for changes to take effect

Connecting to Reachkit

  1. In Reachkit, select “Microsoft” as your provider
  2. Click “Connect with Microsoft”
  3. Sign in and ensure “Consent on behalf of your organization” is checked if available
  4. Accept permissions
  5. Reachkit will verify the connection

For GoDaddy-Managed Microsoft Accounts

  1. Login to your GoDaddy account
  2. Navigate to My Products
  3. Select Email and Office section
  4. Click Manage all and find the user
  5. Click Manage and click Advanced Settings
  6. Enable SMTP Authentication
  7. Wait for an hour before connecting to Reachkit

Troubleshooting

  • If OAuth fails, your organization may restrict third-party connections
  • SMTP verification failures usually mean SMTP isn’t properly enabled
  • Contact your IT department if you encounter persistent issues
