Connection Other Email Providers (IMAP/SMTP)

Inbox Setup

This guide covers connecting email accounts from providers other than Google or Microsoft.

Required Information

You’ll need:

  1. Email address and password
  2. IMAP username and password
  3. SMTP username and password
  4. IMAP server address and port
  5. SMTP server address and port

Tip: The IMAP and SMTP username and password are often similar to the email address and password

Common Provider Settings

Yahoo Mail

  • IMAP: imap.mail.yahoo.com:993
  • SMTP: smtp.mail.yahoo.com:465

Zoho Mail

  • IMAP: imap.zoho.com:993
  • SMTP: smtp.zoho.com:465

GoDaddy Email

  • IMAP: imap.secureserver.net:993
  • SMTP: smtpout.secureserver.net:465

Connection Methods

Single Inbox Setup

  1. In Reachkit, select “Other (IMAP/SMTP)” as your provider
  2. Choose “Single Setup” option
  3. Enter your email address and display name
  4. Input IMAP settings and password
  5. Input SMTP settings and password
  6. Click “Connect” to verify

Bulk Inbox Setup

  1. In Reachkit, select “Other (IMAP/SMTP)” as your provider
  2. Choose “Bulk Setup” option
  3. Download the CSV template
  4. Fill in all required details for each inbox
  5. Upload your completed CSV file
  6. Review and confirm your inboxes

Finding Your Settings

  • Check your provider’s help documentation
  • Search “[Provider Name] IMAP SMTP settings” online
  • Look in your current email client settings

Troubleshooting

  • Double-check server addresses and ports
  • For accounts with 2FA, use an app-specific password
  • Ensure your account allows IMAP/SMTP access
